Thanks.

Note to parents and other authority types:

Never place an otherwise normal good kid in with problem children sent to military schools.
Such makes them begin to act like the juvenile delinquents around them.

I was lucky nothing rubbed off on me in a more permanent fashion.
Then again, I was a model child.
My mother would disagree, but facts are facts.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a rolling donut story before. That’s a good one.

Um................
On another note, I remember the donuts quite vividly, though I actually remember eating them.......

You ate those?

On a side note, I have a scan this Thursday with results Friday.

It kind of bothers me it's on Pearl Harbor Day though.

Sorry I missed this.

They are pretty solid for OTFs, but they are not as solid as folders.
I can't see how these UTF-85s would stand up well over time with any super hard use.

He's 6 months old currently.

The past couple of weeks, I have been babysitting him several hours a day.
Mom is working part time for her sanity.

He has this jungle themed flat open playpen with things to play with hanging on the superstructure and on the sides.
One of them is a music box shaped liked a cat and has a flashing red light that keeps time with the music.
It's kind of reggae themed with wild bird sounds in the background.
I think I enjoy it more than he does.

Does it always go like this?

Not that anyone else does, but my grandson enjoys me dancing to the music of his tiger cat box.

Miles is typically male.

All my girls hold objects up in front of him and move them back and forth while he smiles.

I grab the same objects and shake them so they vibrate at hyper speed.
Miles eyes will get big as he starts hyperventilating, guffawing and swinging his arms stiffly and kicking his feet.

Yeah, all male. It takes one to know one.

It is wonderful to read of your love for your Grandson. You sound so happy to be with him, and him with you. This is a great blessing, and I believe, an answer to the prayers of many. Thank you for sharing these stories with us.

He is a delight.
I am pleased I have lived long enough to experience him.
He's quite the blessing.

I had my scan this morning.
I will not have the results until early afternoon.
Then I have my typical infusion.

I think it may have been easier to have died the first time around when things looked dire when the Votrient was not working.
I had my mind righ and was ready to go as best as I possibly could.

Then the Nivolumab began working and I was good for about 11 months until last May when the scans went south. There was a distinct possibility of heading toward the brink again because the meds were beginning to cease in their effectiveness.

Miles was born last June 1st and was a wonder to behold.
However, physically I was going downhill.
Then my religious affiliation changed, I started to feel better and in August, the scan showed no advancement.

There are so many things that I have experienced since last May. They are all good. I am glad I am living and experiencing these new things which add to my life.
Our family has become much more tight knit.
It means everything.

With all these touchy feely events and occurrences, so many good things have been added, the next go round where I am heading south will make it more difficult on me to leave.

Maybe not, but I do worry about it, if this even makes sense.
It is a good problem and dilemma to have, especially given the alternative.

There is good news from yesterday's scan.
There has been no advancement or further progression of anything, everything is being held in check since the August scan.

It seems I may have another year on the planet.

Praise God!
