I have a bunch of photos/negatives (many hundreds, Maybe even a thousand) that I'd like to get digitally scanned. Has anyone used any of the services available out there? If so, what was your experience? Here's a few I've found online I liked. https://www.memoriesrenewed.com http://digmypics.com http://www.scanmyphotos.com

I had a bunch done about 10 years ago. Had way more that I expected; cost was also way more than expected. Individual special images are not so big of an expense. I had a metric shit ton of slides from my old film-base photography hobby. Way too expensive in the end. I had to do a lot of pruning. **************~~~~~~~~~~ "I've been on this rock too long to bother with these liars any more." ~SIGforum advisor~ "When the pain of staying the same outweighs the pain of change, then change will come."~~sigmonkey

I did a small quantity at CVS, the price was high. I got a flatbed scanner and did a bunch myself, it was cheaper. I don't know about the negatives, except to take 'em to Wal-Mart, have them printed cheap, then scan 'em.
