Good morning and happy September to everyone.

For those who give their Pet meds on the first of the month, this is your reminder, today is September 1.

Spend a few more minutes playing with your Pet(s), give them an extra treat or rub behind the ear today.

Remember, they count on us as much as we count on them.

I use Heartguard Plus to prevent worms for my dog.

Never had an issue with fleas, for any of my dogs over the past 3+ decades.

Ticks are rare, but are occasionally found on them. I just remove them.

Wish ticks were rare around here.

Oh, ticks in general aren't rare around here. We've got plenty of them.

It's just rare to find them on my dogs.

They don't go romping through the forests or Back 40 for hours at a time. If they did, they'd need a tick preventative.

My dogs are inside dogs, so from just regular potty trips, 20 minute wrestle-fests in the back yard, walks to the park and back, etc., it's rare to find a tick on them.

This year has been extra bad. Normally just dealt with them down at my cabin in the woods.
This year we’ve pulled plenty of ourselves and the boys just from playing in the yard.
