Nope. There are three police jurisdictions in two cities: Metro Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and Henderson. All are Clark County though. THAT'S what he meant. Roll Eyes

How do you know that? Who knows about police districts?

A central part of the metropolitan area is the Las Vegas Valley, a 600 sq mi (1,600 km2) basin that includes the metropolitan area's largest city, Las Vegas as well as the other primary city, Paradise, Nevada. The area contains the largest concentration of people in the state. Cities in the metropolitan area include Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

1) because it's true. 2) commit a crime in either of those three cities (Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson) and see what PD arrives to arrest you.

You have no idea what Root meant.

Being law abiding citizens, the issue of which police force will be available to arrest us may not have the same fascination for Root and I that it might have for some.

While we are not fretting over police jurisdictions, we are free to marvel at the growth of the valley, the path of which makes referring to Henderson as a suburb plausible and natural.

This thread has deteriorated into whether Henderson is in Metro Vegas and what police does what and where? I thought it was about the Hypocrisy of Harry Reid, guess I should be made at OP for calling it Vegas, apparently that was the whole point of the post.

Well, not really. Wayne Allyn Root said he lived in that country club in a suburb of Vegas. F2 is unhappy that Henderson is referred to as a suburb, and I resent Watne Allyn Root for misspelling “Allen.”

I’m far more interested in the article than what f2 thinks of Henderson. Thanks for posting, Jallen. It was a good read, despite someone’s very wadded panties.
