While the pundits continue to speak of the few falters or failures, the potential problems, missteps and doom and gloom for the administration, Trump is quietly erasing the Obama Administrations very existence, one EO at a time.

video of Susan Rice

https://youtu.be/sH0akjRDJsY

what a lying POS

from
http://freebeacon.com/national...ing-trump-officials/

Susan Rice, former President Barack Obama's national security adviser, reportedly requested on several occasions the identities of "masked" U.S. persons in intelligence reports linked to President Trump's transition and campaign. This contradicts her past comments on March 22, when she claimed she knew "nothing" about the intelligence reports.

White House lawyers discovered Rice's dozens of requests last month, during a National Security Council review of the "government's policy on ‘unmasking' the identities of individuals in the U.S. who are not targets of electronic eavesdropping, but whose communications are collected incidentally," Eli Lake of Bloomberg reported Monday, citing U.S. officials.

But Rice, who Newsweek once called Obama's "right-hand woman," during a PBS interview last month denied having any knowledge of the intelligence community's alleged incidental surveillance of Trump's transition team.

Oh, I'm certain there's a reasonable explanation for all of this. It's probably due to an internet video or something.

Yea, but if they bitch and complain enough (which is all what they do). The weak backed Rebublican will cave and cede power back to them.

Trump needs to take our weak knee'd republicans to school and teach then how to have a backbone.

circa.com is relatively new. I don't have a feel for how good their track record is. But here is a report from them:

http://circa.com/politics/acco...-on-trump-associates

Computer logs that former President Obama’s team left behind in the White House indicate his national security adviser Susan Rice accessed numerous intelligence reports during Obama's last seven months in office that contained National Security Agency intercepts involving Donald Trump and his associates, Circa has learned.

Intelligence sources said the logs discovered by National Security Council staff suggested Rice’s interest in the NSA materials, some of which included unmasked Americans' identities, appeared to begin last July around the time Trump secured the GOP nomination and accelerated after Trump’s election in November launched a transition that continued through January.

The intelligence reports included some intercepts of Americans talking to foreigners and many more involving foreign leaders talking about the future president, his campaign associates or his transition, the sources said. Most if not all had nothing to do with the Russian election interference scandal , the sources said, speaking only on condition of anonymity given the sensitive nature of the materials.

Ordinarily, such references to Americans would be redacted or minimized by the NSA before being shared with outside intelligence sources, but in these cases names were sometimes unmasked at the request of Rice or the intelligence reports were specific enough that the American’s identity was easily ascertained, the sources said.

The exact national security justifications for Rice accessing the reports isn’t clear and may require additional documentation that the House and Senate intelligence committees have requested from the NSA, America’s lead agency in spying on foreign powers.

How the information was disseminated beyond Rice will also be a potential focus of congressional oversight, since lawmakers may want to know if it was briefed to Obama or shared with members of her larger circle of advisers, like deputy Ben Rhodes.

Rice has not returned repeated calls for comment from Circa. But in an interview with PBS recently, she said she had no idea what House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes was talking about when he said Obama officials were monitoring Trump associates after the election.

One intelligence professional with detailed knowledge of how the NSA and other intelligence agencies share information with the White House during transitions told Circa that U.S. intelligence reporting on foreign leaders’ perceptions of Trump spiked after his unexpected election win in November, creating a trove of information that could be accessed by the outgoing White House.

“There’s always intelligence reporting on an incoming president and how the world is reacting but this election was not like others, and that reporting spiked,” the source said. “Whether and how it was used by the Obama team will have to be evaluated separate of the fact that the reporting this time around was richer and more robust because of the circumstances of the election.”

Both the Republican chairman and Democratic vice chairman of the Housing Intelligence Committee have been shown the documents discovered by the NSC over the last 10 days.

**************

so the Rice story has been reported by Fox, Bloomberg, and Circa

I saw an interview a few days ago that said logs are kept of people that request "unmasking"
from the intel documents.

I bet they are.

The minority leader on a committee is "the ranking member" not Vice Chairman. (S)He does not preside in the absence of the Chairman. These guys need to get up to speed on details like that.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Let us be clear on this; the executive branch ie the White House has no need whatsoever for raw data/intelligence. What they typically get is information that is in the context of "analysis".

Analysis is done by the agencies, not the White House. Again, the White House has no ability to do analysis on raw data.

So you have to ask yourself "Why was there raw data laying around at the White House?"

And, yes I realize there is zero accountability in Washington DC. I still have dreams that maybe someday, someone will apply some freakin' accountability to those who deserve it the most including scum bag at the IRS, the dirt bags at the VA and especially those at State and the executive branch from the prior 8 years.

I hope Trump can rally the Republicans to use the "nuclear option" on Gorsuch's nomination. The hard truth is this: Republicans are cowards. As a group, cowards. Fretting about what the press with think, what the Democrats will say....

You have to give the Democrats this much, corrupt bastards that they are: When Harry decided to use the nuke, he just did it. They are all swamp creatures, but swamp creatures with balls. That is why they have kicked Republican ass for decades.

I hope they don't. A member posted earlier about how it can be done: extend the legislative day, do business during the day, discussion at night, make those GDC bastards stay up all night and still run them out of chances to speak in a period of weeks. Better to crush their pathetic filibuster playing by the current rules than change the rules. Beat them like the rented mules that they are...
