No; I've not had the antibody test but myself and several family members strongly suspect we had it in January. But later, if my health is challenged or the resistance isn't long lasting...I'll ask my doc about it.

So not only yes, but hell yes.

Yes.

God yes. I had it last December before the diagnosis actually existed. It damn near killed me. I still have painful and complex after effects. I'll take it as soon as I can.

Your reasons for yes or no are welcome if you wish to explain them, but please do not use your post as an excuse to cast aspersions on the people with whom you disagree. That includes ascribing supposed motives to people about whom you know nothing and thereby merely demonstrates your willingness to show your own ignorance. That sort of thing has been largely avoided in this thread thus far, but it seems to be something a few members here always have extreme difficulty in exercising the self-discipline to avoid. I realize it may be hard, but try, won't you? Smile

While the manufacturers claim very high % of success, I would wait for awhile to see what the real world 'science' says. Then yes, I'd take the vaccine.

I haven't worn a mask since the ccp crud came ashore. I've lived my life as usual. I practice social distancing because I hate being around knuckleheads. I wash my hands and use sanitizer. Maybe I've been lucky to avoid the crud, but I'd take the vaccine to improve the odds.

Nope, unless required to, like to renew drivers license, choose a health plan, go into a store. I'm pretty sure I'll never fly commercial again. I don't believe it's biologically necessary, just like I don't get flu shots.

I remember thalidomide.

Not immediately, no.

Now that I have had COVID-19 I would prefer to see to what extent, if any, natural immunity forms.

Not in the first wave. Once it's been given enough to have more accurate numbers regarding reactions I'll make the decision.

The government better be speaking to Madison Avenue. In the late fifties teens were declining the polio vaccine. Elvis was filmed taking it and certain dances only admitted those who had been vaccinated.
Not long ago the Anthrax vaccine was mandatory for those in the service. A cardiovascular surgeon declined and they booted him out of the service.
I am guessing many have not seen what COVID can do to a healthy body. The percentage of those that have long term cognitive difficulties is especially concerning.

If anyone is interested here is an informative article on mrna vaccines. This is not like any vaccine we have ever had. I think I will wait it out and see some short and long term effects before I willingly take it.

True. Thanks for posting. The first Polio vaccine had live virus, the second did not. If I remember correctly my parents made me take both. Small pox started with Variolation and then progressed. Good article.

I believe it has been too rushed and there are lots of unknowns right now so....not until they can convince me it is safe.

Frankly, I'd be more comfortable being purposely infected with the Wuhan than injected with this vaccine. That is 100% the truth.
