Civilian Body Armour - Helmet?

I see the biggest advantage of a helmet is for NVG use and non-weapon impacts(rocks or running your head into something solid).

Lastly for ballistic protection.

I would go armor first every day and all day unless there was a specific need for non-ballistic protection to your brain bucket.
