My good friend Matt has a shop that he calls Mr. Bones' Curiosity Shop. He makes interesting crafts such as coin rings, skeleton figures and tons of other stuff. Some of the stuff leans toward the macabre. All of it is very cool.

Here is the Molon Labe bell that he made for me out of coins:

It has a nifty little surprise inside:

(because memento mori, ya know?)

The first picture seems to match the actual color of the bell. Neato, huh?

Looks like a lot of work went into that one.

I think what's intricate is the underside of the bell with the ridges. That's like painting behind something that no one will see but you still paint it because you'll know.

It almost looks like the existing knurling on the edge of some coins. Nice piece.

A strange and wonderful item. Be careful, as there is no way of knowing what it may summon.

Agreed. That's what got my attention. I thought it was the edge of a coin but as i looked at the thickness and trying to imagine how he would have shaped the coin to get the edge that way, that's when I figured the artist went to the nth degree of meticulousness.
