Yesterday, I went on Amazon to check on a package and was met with a ton of nice sales.

Picked up a nice Waterproof Bluetooth speaker for $20, that was $170 off its normal price.

Hoping to find some deals on gun stuff.

Any sales you come across, feel free to post'em.

I still have my fingers crossed there's going to be another drop in the 556 ammo prices.
One last 2017 sale... (better than the $229 rebate thing for 1,000 rounds).

I'd be all over this for my 6.5 Grendel build but I've already spent what was left of my fun money.
But maybe someone else is looking for one.
These are usually $242

Wow. $20 for $170. I'm tempted but I'm trying to get rid of stuff.

We went to Sam's to get after Christmas sales of packaged gifts like chocolate and stuff and they weren't on sale. I have some relatives that we'll see on the 28th.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I could be wrong on this one, but I believe it usually just has to be purchased by the deadline and they give you a while longer to actually get it submitted. That's been my experience. Worth looking into for that deal.

Edit: Appears the required documents and form just have to be mailed by 1/31/18 if we're talking about the Federal/American Eagle deal.

We snagged a 32" VIZIO smart TV for $150 +$50 store coupon from Meijer's.

Installed it in the wife's study... we've yet to leave.

I read it yesterday and thought it said I needed UPC's off the boxes, which is the problem.

Yep, it calls for the two UPCs off of the box, along with the physical receipt or online payment receipt, blah, blah.
I already went to the site and filled it out (btw, you have to use dashes or it may reject the UPC code).
It even gave me a confirmation email. Now I have to mail the packet.

I was really sure that there was going to be another drop in 556/223 ammo prices but perhaps not...

A Charlotte area gun shop is doing 20% off any used guns with any other store purchase later this week. I might just drop by. The wife has been wanting a revolver.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Where do you see that it requires two UPC's? I have my letter ready to send in today but I only cut the one main UPC code off the bottom of the box of loose 1000 rounds. By the way on the loose rounds box there are UPC codes on the sides of the box that are not the same as the UPC code on the bottom of the box, it is different by one digit. The side UPC codes will not be accepted online, it must be the bottom UPC code.

Why is that a problem? You don't think you'll have received the ammo by 1/31? The UPC codes have to be mailed in which is the part that isn't due until 1/31. It just has to be purchased by 12/31.

Found one of those crock pot thingies that has three (yes, 3) in a single housing, but each has individual control, new in the box, for less than $30. Made the wife happy, which is ultimately important in strategy for future gun stuff purchases.
