After the update it completely removed the Qualcomm BT.
When I go into device manager and then BT it is not there to uninstall.
Which is what the trouble shooting says to do to get it working again.
I tried to install BT again but it didn't take.
None of the windows troubleshooting is working and apparently this is a known issue.

Is it possible to restore it to the previous version of windows or am I screwed till MS figures this out?

Try a restore to an earlier date before the update.

Let's go back a notch.

When you go to Device Manager, have you enabled the option to see disabled/hidden devices?

I just did that and it not there either.
Will try the sfc next.
A lot of this is unfamiliar to me and I'm learning as I go.
My work laptop is nearly identical but has W10 v1803.
I checked it just to see what I'm supposed to be seeing and determined that it's a qualcomm wireless and BT not Realtek
Thanks.

Well, you are ahead of me. My machine won't successfully load 1903. And not for lack of trying. I have done clean-ups, run the MS Update Repair Tool, tried loading it from the MS Update website, and tried any manner of other fixes that don't involve me screwing with the registry.

No workee.

I rolled it back to the previous version and it's back to the way it was.

Good grief, not updating again till that's all worked out.

Thanks
