I am looking at getting this setup for my upcoming Mule Deer hunt, I have not had a video camera for years, and I do have my phone, but I would like something with a better zoom capability and easy playback.

I decided on this style/model over the go pro because of the zoom.

Does anyone have any experience with this model or one similar?

I have a older one from sony # dcr-trv350 Digital zoom700x.I put a lens doubler on it.
It came with 20 X zoom.
Nice ,easy to use,but I went smaller with a
Cannon power shot that fits in my shirt pocket.
