COok has just about burned up all the Jobs capital. This baby is his and Apple is getting beaten in innovation.

The thread is diverging from OP's intent, but Apple has much capital, although much of it is stored in countries other than USA.

Steve Jobs insisted upon copious capital as many, many techstocks now not remembered "went away" due to lack of capital. Steve Jobs wanted his vision to be kept alive, and it still is. I know nothing of Tim Cook other than he must had been the best choice, since Steve Jobs selected him to protect his vision.

Having now three mid-2012 MBPs, a 2014 Mac mini, and a new Samsumg Android phone, I agree. (I don't want Apple's new products.)

I got an OS update this morning which patched the problem.
