I'm kind of a flashlight geek. I would never, ever, not in a million years, leave the house with a $3.50 flashlight. Every time I pull some stunt like that, the shit breaks when I need it most.

I like the Streamlight that can take 123 batteries OR AA batteries. Fantastic general purpose light to have, especially while traveling. You can raid TV remotes if you have to to get the AA batteries.

Thanks Sig! Saved me $10 and free shipping!
My Streamlight is dying, won’t stay on. Been a good light though, on me every day.

I have to amend my previous post. I just bought a Fenix RC09 rechargeable light and it is awesome for EDC. It comes with a rechargeable CR123 battery that charges via a USB cable. I won't go into details but look at the link and check it out.

Fenix LD09.

I check things for a living, mostly at night. I've turned mine on and off 40 times a day for the last 3.5 years. Very tough!
