Trump scraps secret meetings with Afghan, Taliban leaders after deadly bombing
https://www.foxnews.com/politi...tan-kill-an-american

President Trump announced Saturday that he had canceled planned secret meetings at Camp David with Taliban and Afghan leaders after the Taliban claimed responsibility for a car bombing that killed a U.S. soldier, a Romanian soldier, and 10 civilians in Kabul earlier this week.

"Unbeknownst to almost everyone, the major Taliban leaders and, separately, the President of Afghanistan, were going to secretly meet with me at Camp David on Sunday," Trump tweeted. "They were coming to the United States tonight. Unfortunately, in order to build false leverage, they admitted to an attack in Kabul that killed one of our great great soldiers, and 11 other people. I immediately cancelled [sic] the meeting and called off peace negotiations. What kind of people would kill so many in order to seemingly strengthen their bargaining position?”

Trump added that if the Taliban cannot agree to a ceasefire, "then they probably don’t have the power to negotiate a meaningful agreement anyway."

"How many more decades are they willing to fight?" Trump asked.

We probably need to strengthen our bargaining position. Drone strokes to a couple dozen Taliban leaders might do the trick probably, if not rinse and repeat.

He should have had them come to Camp David and introduced them to some good ol’ fashioned water boarding, followed by a firing squad.

Honest question. What's there to really talk about? We've pissed away a fortune in cash and American lives over more than decade for essentially zip. In the investment world this would be viewed as a non-performing asset and liquidated to prevent any further losses. Time to do the same with A-stan. Back up the planes and air lift all of our personnel out of there with as much equipment as makes sense to take with us. Then fire bomb every poppy field in the country completely eliminating that crop. Then send drones back to fire bomb any replanting. And Immediately fire any establishment asshole who resists this pullout.

In a bid to be equally lost on the Presidential Trail, Mark Sanford announces he's going to run against President Trump.

Too bad. I was hoping that Sanford would quietly seek a life of rehabilitation.

Instead, he's gonna' lose more bark - something that he really can't spare.

His platform is: Be aganist Trump's personality and national debt.

This will only amount to yet another effort to weaken President Trump in the general election.

Sanford, himself, thinks he's a long shot but seems to relish a role as potential buzz kill.

A great commentary by Sebastian Gorka in the Epoch Times Newspaper [August 2, 2019 Updated: August 7, 2019]

He explains how Donald Trump's tweets are crazy like a fox. Examples are given as to how the tweets are used to corner the media and democratic leadership.

If I had a dollar for every time a nominal conservative makes this plea to me in person, well let’s just say I’d have lots of dollars. My response is, however, always the same: “If not for rare truth-tellers like Sean Hannity and candidate Donald Trump’s Twitter feed, Hillary Rodham Clinton would now be the president.”

President Trump is exposing the globalists, communists, and other assorted anti-American shit-stains to the world. I am profoundly grateful that he speaks to us unfiltered on Twitter. He is also giving other people in other countries the courage to expose their own shit-stain countrymen and I'm grateful for that too.

He makes it easy and says the uncomfortable things that the good guys are thinking. This really helps the public-at-large who may not be current events / political junkies like many good people on this board.

Trump doesn’t simply speak bluntly about problems that need to be fixed, be it China’s economic warfare against America and the West, the need to crush ISIS, or the modern political plantations of dependency the Democrats have created across the nation. I think the President has been studying the office and the past participants for quite a while, maybe decades. I don't know if he planned on being president but sometimes it sure feels that way.

Rather than continuing to monitor for replanting, maybe 'salt' the poppy fields on the way out with something non-fissionable but with a decent half-life? That should get them out of the opium business without the need for much in the way of ongoing supervision.

Description

INTERVIEW - JOE DIGENOVA - legal analyst and former U.S. Attorney to the District of Columbia – discussed the House Judiciary’s continued impeachment push and his thoughts on Montgomery County’s handling of crime by illegal immigrants.

IMPEACHMENT PUSH: House Judiciary panel preparing vote to define Trump impeachment probe. (Politico) - The House Judiciary Committee is preparing to take its first formal vote to define what Chairman Jerry Nadler calls an ongoing “impeachment investigation” of President Donald Trump, according to multiple sources briefed on the discussions. The panel could vote as early as Wednesday on a resolution to spell out the parameters of its investigation.

The language is still being hammered out inside the committee and with House leaders. A draft of the resolution is expected to be released Monday morning. [...] In early August, Nadler publicly declared that his committee had already launched impeachment proceedings despite taking no formal vote to do so. The claim sparked confusion, even among some Democrats, who sought clarification as they faced questions from progressive constituents about the status of the House's effort to recommend Trump's removal from office.

The committee has also repeatedly described an ongoing “impeachment investigation” in court filings submitted during the recess, all part of legal efforts to compel from witnesses testimony about allegations that Trump attempted to obstruct an investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

By declaring impeachment under active consideration, the committee has sought to convince judges of the urgency of providing Democrats with the evidence they're seeking. But Republicans on the committee protested loudly that impeachment proceedings require a vote, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi's resistance to a formal impeachment inquiry — despite her support of the Judiciary Committee's legal filings — has complicated the House's posture further.

Rep. Collins points out problems with Dems defining impeachment probe: 'This is really pathetic' (Fox News) - Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are looking to formally define what Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., has referred to as impeachment proceedings against President Trump, leading ranking member Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., to torch members for stumbling over themselves throughout the process. Collins pointed out what he believes are problems with how Democrats have conducted their investigation, claiming that they have acted outside the boundaries of House rules and may have made misrepresentations in court filings. “They have portrayed themselves in just a terrible way over the last eight months and they keep digging their hole," Collins told Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures."

MOCO'S SANCTUARY POLICIES: Since July 25, Montgomery County Police have arrested at least seven confirmed illegals over alleged sex crimes. The arrests all came after County Executive Marc Elrich signed an executive order designating the county a "sanctuary" jurisdiction. The order states that no county agency – including police departments – can cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Immigration agents are barred from entering secure portions of county jails and must take custody of illegal immigrants in public areas, such as jail parking lots. Amid national coverage of the sex crimes, the County Council responded by lumping critics such as Cuccinelli in with “neo-Nazi sympathizers" and people who spread "false information."

“There has been a lot of naccurate information spread by the White House, President Trump, Acting USCIS Director Ken Cuccinelli, local and national conservative news outlets and neo-Nazi sympathizers regarding our criminal justice system and its process,” a statement said.

“These individuals and organizations should be ashamed for spreading false information seeking to establish a baseless, illogical and xenophobic connection between a person’s failure to obtain legal status and their propensity to commit a sex crime.”

I know, expended 30mm incendiary rounds from an A-10? Several A-10's in fact. 1,150 expended rounds from each. Yeah, that would do it.

Donald Trump did NOT blow the cover of CIA's top Russian spy

“A spy at the heart of the Kremlin was pulled out of Russia because of CIA leaks and not because President Donald Trump had compromised them, officials have said.

Despite providing vital intelligence from Vladimir Putin's inner circle, the spy was pulled out of Moscow in 2017 amid fears for their safety.

Plans to extract the source were underway well before Trump sparked alarm over his use of intelligence during an Oval Office meeting with Russian officials in 2017, it has now emerged.

In fact, the spy's initial refusal to move to America had sparked concern that they might be a double agent.

Reports yesterday suggested that intelligence chiefs were concerned about the President's tendency to disclose information without warning.

The decision to retrieve the source was taken after the mysterious meeting with foreign minister Lavrov and the Russian ambassador, it was claimed.

But intelligence officials told the New York Times that the public and media attention which began before Trump took office was behind the decision.

There was no evidence that Trump had in fact compromised the agent, they said…”

He uses his tweets as bait for the Democrats, and they take it every single time. He is the one who has exposed their real goals. Before Trump, Democrats hid behind false rhetoric, but no longer.

We now have a party that has exposed their anti-semitism. Their pro open border stance, supporting illegal aliens, free healthcare for them. Their plans for confiscating guns.

You have white Democrats shameful of being white. A white woman claiming to be native American. A white young punk rock guy with a criminal record pretending to be Mexican. A wealthy old white guy claiming to love socialism who appoints a pro-Sharia anti-semite to his campaign. A Chinese guy who claims to be good at math trying to hustle a guaranteed minimum income.

Trump has brought this all out from them, and I'll bet he's laughing his ass off.
