Bo Snerdley turns tables on whistleblower story: ‘WHO is spying on our President? Answer that!’
September 21, 2019 | Frieda Powers

Common sense-Americans are firmly defending President Trump’s Constitutional authority and slamming the whistleblower who filed a complaint against him as an “unelected, inferior employee.”

Rush Limbaugh’s long-time producer James Golden, “Snerdley,” summed it up nicely in a tweet Friday.

Contrary to what is being floated – there is NO legal restriction against the President of the US asking the leaders of Ukraine to “investigate” something. Please – somebody cite the crime? Or the impropriety? WHO is spying on our President? Answer that!

— Bo Snerdley (@BoSnerdley) September 20, 2019

Fox News legal analyst and commentator, Gregg Jarrett, sitting in as guest host on Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” weighed in on the controversial reports that an anonymous member of the intelligence community reportedly filed a complaint about a recent phone call between Trump and the Ukrainian president.

(Video: Fox Business)

“Article II of the Constitution gives the president sweeping authority to negotiate with foreign leaders to make demands, indeed, to make promises,” Jarrett said Friday, speaking with guest Harmeet Dhillon, a lawyer and member of the Republican National Committee.

“It does not grant power to an unelected, inferior employee of the federal government to second guess what the president is doing or approve or disprove of what he’s doing. Would you agree?” Jarrett asked.

“Absolutely,” Dhillon agreed, adding that “it’s the president’s job under our system of government to communicate with foreign leaders and share his views with them.”

“There is no quid pro quo. There are so many issues uncovered here,” she added, after calling out the “partisan effort” by the whistleblower in the complaint about the July phone call during which the president reportedly urged Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s son.

“Setting aside for the moment that quid pro quo is as standard of foreign policy negotiations,” Jarrett interjected, “the Wall Street Journal is reporting there was no quid pro quo. What journalists seem to be ignoring is that there was a quid pro quo with Biden and Ukrainian leaders.”

“He is seen on tape bragging about how he threatened them that if they didn’t fire a prosecutor he was going to withhold more than a billion dollars from Ukraine,” Jarrett said of the former vice president’s son, Hunter Biden. “Now that’s a quid pro quo, isn’t it and why is it the media ignores that?”

Dhillon responded that Jarrett was asking a “rhetorical question” since the media “hate the president and they are willing to give a pass to anybody who criticizes him.”

“Who knows what the whistleblower is doing behind the scenes?” she added.

In an opinion piece published by Fox News on Friday, Jarrett blasted the media for “convicting Trump in the court of public opinion and predicting his imminent demise” despite the “precious little information” found in the whistleblower report.

“Does this complaint really qualify under the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act (ICWPA)?” Jarrett asked, noting that “a spy who allegedly spied on the president does not have a legitimate whistleblower complaint against that president under the law.”

“Yes, the alphabet soup of intel agencies ultimately report to the president, but that does not make Trump a member of that community and subject to its rules of conduct,” the author and former defense attorney wrote. So, it turns out that the ‘whistleblower’ may not be a whistleblower at all. But you will not hear that from the mainstream media. They are too busy lighting their own hair on fire.”

The president blasted “Radical Left Democrats” and the “highly partisan” whistleblower in a tweet on Friday.

The Radical Left Democrats and their Fake News Media partners, headed up again by Little Adam Schiff, and batting Zero for 21 against me, are at it again! They think I may have had a “dicey” conversation with a certain foreign leader based on a “highly partisan” whistleblowers..

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 20, 2019

….statement. Strange that with so many other people hearing or knowing of the perfectly fine and respectful conversation, that they would not have also come forward. Do you know the reason why they did not? Because there was nothing said wrong, it was pitch perfect!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 20, 2019

Republicans in Congress defended Trump against the “highly partisan” whistleblower complaint.

“It’s not like we haven’t seen this movie before,” U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan told The Washington Post. “Democrats come out, they’re all spun up, Adam Schiff makes all kinds of statements, and then when the facts come out — Whoa, different story!”

“This seems to be the same kind of deal,” the Ohio Republican added.

“It would have a real chilling effect on dialogue between important leaders if they think that every time someone who overhears a conversation that wasn’t even party to the conversation is going to file a whistleblower complaint and it’ll end up on the front page of periodicals across the country,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows said, according to The Post.

Rep. Mike Gallagher dismissed the inflated drama by noting that calls with foreign leaders go with the territory of being president of the United States.

“The fact is, the president, to quote John Marshall, is the ‘sole organ’ of U.S. external relations and has to have conversations in confidence with foreign leaders,” the Wisconsin Republican said. “There’s no practical way to conduct diplomacy without it.”

Just the continuing assault on Trumps Illegitimate Presidency.

This is the reason the top conspirators against Trump need to be tried, convicted and sentenced to jail.

Notice how every time the left comes up with a new reason to investigate Trump, its usually in response to a crime THEY actually committed?
Clinton emails > Trump Collusion
FISA scandal > Trump Obstruction
Illegal foreign money laundering > Trump Phone Call?
The media is just setting up smoke screens for the real criminals in government.

Trump should point out his family was rich when he assumed office.

Unlike other politicians and families who made their fortunes after becoming a Public Servant.

I actually believe there was a report from the Russians on those crazy sex acts with Russian hookers in the hotel room. It was just a report was on Bill Clinton's last trip to Russia and was delivered to Hilary. She just changed the name.

Regarding the John Solomon article posted above, the Ukrainians couldn't just get their ambassador to request a meeting? Isn't that one of the main functions of an ambassador?

Why all the effort and drama?

This whistle blower sounds like another deep state set up.

a blogger pointed out something from the CNN article

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/20...tleblower/index.html

"The whistleblower didn't have direct knowledge of the communications, an official briefed on the matter told CNN. Instead, the whistleblower's concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration's determination that the complaint didn't fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said."

xxxxxxxxxx

So the whistle blower (aka deep state operator w the goal of damaging the President), didn't have "direct knowledge".

The deep state intel person learned info not in the course of their work.

So why should this be a matter of the Intel IG ?

After all the attempts to set up the President by the FBI, DoJ, State Dept, CIA, MSM, etc - there is no more patience to give charges like this any benefit of the doubt.

From V.D.H.: Trump's Total Culture War

Donald Trump is waging a nonstop, all-encompassing war against progressive culture, in magnitude analogous to what 19th-century Germans once called a Kulturkampf.

As a result, not even former President George W. Bush has incurred the degree of hatred from the left that is now directed at Trump. For most of his time in office, Trump, his family, his friends and his businesses have been investigated, probed, dissected and constantly attacked.

In 2016 and early 2017, Barack Obama appointees in the FBI, CIA and Department of Justice tried to subvert the Trump campaign, interfere with his transition and, ultimately, abort his presidency. Now, congressional Democrats promise impeachment before the 2020 election.

The usual reason for such hatred is said to be Trump's unorthodox and combative take-no-prisoners style. Critics detest his crude and unfettered assertions, his lack of prior military or political experience, his attacks on the so-called bipartisan administrative state, and his intent to roll back the entire Obama-era effort of "fundamentally transforming" the country leftward.

Certainly, Trump's agenda of closing the border, using tariffs to overturn a half-century of Chinese mercantilism, and pulling back from optional overseas military interventions variously offends both Democrats and establishment Republicans.

Trump periodically and mercurially fires his top officials. He apparently does not care whether the departed write damning memoirs or join his opposition. He will soon appoint his fourth national security adviser within just three years.

To make things worse for his critics, Trump's economy is booming as never before in the new 21st century: near-record-low unemployment, a record number of Americans working, increases in workers' wages and family incomes, low interest rates, low inflation, steady GDP growth and a strong stock market.

Yet the real source of Trump derangement syndrome is his desire to wage a multifront pushback -- politically, socially, economically and culturally -- against what might be called the elite postmodern progressive world.

Contemporary elites increasingly see nationalism and patriotism as passe. Borders are 19th-century holdovers.

The European Union, not the U.S. Constitution, is seen as the preferable model to run a nation. Transnational and global organizations are wiser on environmental and diplomatic matters than is the U.S. government.

The media can no longer afford to be nonpartisan and impartial in its effort to rid America of a reactionary such as Trump, given his danger to the progressive future.

America's ancient sins can never really be forgiven. In a new spirit of iconoclasm, thousands of buildings, monuments and statues dedicated to American sinners of the past must be destroyed, removed or renamed.

A new America supposedly is marching forward under the banner of ending fossil fuels, curbing the Second Amendment, redistributing income, promoting identity politics and open borders, and providing free college, free health care and abortion on demand.

An insomniac Trump fights all of the above nonstop and everywhere. In the past, Republican presidents sought to slow the progressive transformation of America but despaired of ever stopping it.

No slugfest is too off-topic or trivial for Trump. Sometimes that means calling out former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick for persuading NFL stars to kneel during the national anthem. Huge, monopolistic Silicon Valley companies are special Trump targets. Sometimes Trump enters cul-de-sac Twitter wars with Hollywood has-beens who have attacked him and his policies.

Trump variously goes after antifa, political correctness on campus, the NATO hierarchy, the radical green movement, Planned Parenthood, American universities and, above all, the media -- especially CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times.

For all the acrimony and chaos -- and prognostications of Trump's certain failure -- a bloodied Trump wins more than he loses. NATO members may hate Trump, but more are finally paying their promised defense contributions.

In retrospect, many Americans concede that the Iran Deal was flawed and that the Paris climate accord mere virtue signaling. China was long due for a reckoning.

Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation proved fruitless and was further diminished by Mueller's bizarrely incoherent congressional testimony.

Some of the most prominent Trump haters -- Michael Avenatti, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Antony Scaramucci and Rep. Adam Schiff -- either have been discredited or have become increasingly irrelevant.

Trump has so enraged his Democratic adversaries that the candidates to replace him have moved further to the left than any primary field in memory. They loathe Trump, but in their abject hatred he has goaded the various Democratic candidates into revealing their support for the crazy Green New Deal, reparations for slavery, relaxed immigration policies and trillions of dollars in new free stuff.

In a way, the left-wing Democratic presidential candidates understand Trump best. If he wins his one-man crusade to stop the progressive project, they are finished, and their own party will make the necessary adjustments and then sheepishly drift back toward the center.
