I'll be very surprised if Biden is the Dem candidate. I just dont see it. It might be Warren or maybe some dark horse surprise. But Biden is damaged goods. Plus he can't keep his thoughts straight.

It will be more interesting to see if Biden cna even make it to the end of the primary without having to drop out. As more info about his and little Hunter Biden surface he may not have a choice. And consider this, the more attention he and Trump draw, the less is available to Warren or any of the other Dem candidates. All this impeachment and Biden/Ukraine stuff is sucking all the oxygen out of the news cycle.

Also heard something interesting by some talking head yesterday. Apparently, if the Dem's follow their schedule for impeachment investigation, it would move to a vote in the House before Christmas. If passed, it would then move to the Senate after the first of the year, requiring 'all' the senate Dem primary candidates to stay in Washington for the impeachment process, whereby keeping all of them off the campaign trail. This whole thing is just way too comical.

Good thing they are the smart party. Just think how ridiculous it would look if they were stupid.

So was Hillary; it didn't stop the DNC and their media outlets from trying their best to cover for her. The truth is that they are cornered. Biden is the only candidate that their most optimistic polling shows even has a chance against Donaldus Magnus.

Trump to Replace Kevin McAleenan at Department of Homeland Security

https://www.breitbart.com/poli...f-homeland-security/

Acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kevin McAleenan will be leaving his position as the head of the agency, President Trump announced Friday evening.

In a series of posts, Trump announced that he would be replacing McAleenan next week after the former Customs and Border Protection Commissioner had served as head of DHS since April.

Trump wrote:

Kevin McAleenan has done an outstanding job as Acting Secretary of Homeland Security. We have worked well together with Border Crossings being way down. Kevin now, after many years in Government, wants to spend more time with his family and go to the private sector….

“Congratulations Kevin, on a job well done,” Trump continued. “I will be announcing the new Acting Secretary next week. Many wonderful candidates!”

As Breitbart News has chronicled for months, McAleenan had defied the Trump administration on multiple fronts, including most recently providing an interview to the Washington Post in which he attacked Trump’s “Zero Tolerance” policy at the southern border and said he refused to call border crossers “illegal aliens.”

For the structure at DHS, Breitbart News exclusively reported accounts in which administration sources said McAleenan had implemented a personnel agenda that sought to protect the bureaucratic allies of former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

In a New York Times report last month, McAleenan was accused of telling federal immigration officials to ignore Trump’s orders at the U.S.-Mexico border.

McAleenan, in June, was accused of having leaked raids scheduled by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency in order to sabotage and stop the plan. The ICE raids would have arrested hundreds of illegal aliens who had already been ordered deported.

Watching PDJT at the Louisiana rally. Raking the D’s about their “bullshit impeachment” was just getting warmed up.

He met with the world champion little league team at the White House today, then flew them home to Louisiana on Air Force One, then brought them up on stage.

He’s there to get the vote out for a state run off election tomorrow.

Awesome.

Turns out Biden's family not the only one to benefit from Ukrainian fossil fuels
By Howard J. Warner

AMERICAN THINKER > https://www.americanthinker.co...an_fossil_fuels.html
==============================
............."It appears that the D.C. swamp benefits another powerful family. The Biden family has gotten special treatment from Ukrainian oil interests, and the Pelosi family has a similar advantage. Paul Pelosi, Jr. was a board member of Viscoil and an executive at its related company NRGLab, which was involved in energy business in Ukraine. Perhaps the use of the Intelligence Committee has given the Democrats the opportunity to limit Republican questioning and maintain secrecy over the responses from subpoenaed witnesses. This would prevent any official record implicating Pelosi's son. This also explains her reluctance to take a vote authorizing the investigation, since the minority party would gain some rights.

This is interesting also since much of the Democratic Party rejects carbon-based energy sources. Biden has made this a part of his campaign. The Green New Deal proposals will eventually end dependency on oil and gas as an energy source. But this does not stop these politicos from benefiting financially from this sector of the economy. This reminds one of the financial benefits that Al Gore's father had from Occidental Petroleum, which was one of the great polluters (remember Love Canal?). He chose to make money selling carbon offsets to atone and make his own name.

The Ukrainian oil company Burisma used many well connected members of the D.C. establishment connected to the Obama administration. This interlocking swamp is a threat to the USA. But the media have managed to convince a vast number of Americans that Trump is the threat. When Trump railed against Pelosi in Louisiana on Friday, he was accusing her of not just splitting the nation politically, but also ignoring the financial benefits to powerful families at the detriment of our national security. This also helps explain the constant discussion in public about Biden's son Hunter, in addition to the political advantage he might gain.".........

I don't agree with everything in this article but this explanation makes a lot of sense.

A Revolution In Reverse: The Uprising Of The American Elites Against The American People

https://tsionizm.com/analysis/...the-american-people/

The unprecedented criminal corruption of the American ruling classes has made it impossible for them to peacefully surrender power back to the people.

The great Bolshevik revolutions of the last century in Russia, in China, and in Cuba all followed a familiar pattern: a group of young, energetic, endlessly corruptible, but not yet corrupt outsiders take on, in the name of the people, a tired corrupt establishment. A civil war ensues in which the people side with the revolutionaries because they (mistakenly) think that things can never be worse. Revolutionaries win, slaughter the establishment elites, and proceed to rob and enslave the people in even more outrageous fashion. Soon enough the old guard revolutionaries become every bit as corrupt as the ones they have replaced if not more so and the cycle repeats itself.

In America, the situation is rather farcically backwards. In America, the corrupt establishment elites have decided to stage a Bolshevik coup against the American people rather than the other way around. A Tsar fully in command of his own kingdom staging a coup against his own people is a bizarre development to say the least, and yet, here we are in 2019 America. Like always, there are reasons. First and foremost among them is the sheer scope of the nepotism and corruption of the American elites in business, government, technology, and the intelligence services. This scope has very likely far exceeded anything previously known in human history. Had the dimensions of the robbery perpetrated by the American ruling classes against the American people become widely known earlier, America could well have experienced a more typical revolution, one by the people against the elites.

Well aware of the possibility if not probability of such an outcome, the people who run America put in place a plan to make it all but impossible. The plan involved the gradually escalating erosion of the limits on government powers put in place by the Constitution with a parallel erosion in the God-given rights guaranteed every American by the same document. This was a fully bipartisan effort, put in place immediately after president Reagan departed office. It is sufficient to observe the exponential increase in government versus private sector employment in America from 1988 to 2019 to fully grasp this point. Stopping immigration from countries that have (or at least used to have) a tradition of personal freedom and limited government while throwing open the spigots for immigration from countries that have neither was the second part of the same plan. The destruction of family values and Christianity in America was the third.

On the whole, the plan was a spectacular success. Americans proved easy targets for propaganda on pro-gay rights and every other kind of moral depravity and have learned to bite their tongues and bow low whenever they heard the phrase: “diversity is our strength”. White Americans learned to internalize guilt for something they had no control over – the very color of their skin. Americans allowed themselves to become squeezed out of well-paying jobs by the elites-induced trifecta of low and high-skilled immigration and automation, with nary a whisper in protest. All was going well for the elites until they had a panic attack, a freakout of unheard of proportions when a non-establishment person, Donald Trump managed to get himself elected president.

The problem for the elites inherent in Trump’s election was simple: they have not done much, if anything, to cover the tracks of their massive robbery of the American people and that meant that when Trump assumed office even their best efforts would likely not be good enough to stop him from perceiving at least a glimpse of the true scale of their crimes.

There is a certain irony in the fact that being criminals themselves, the American establishment has found, in Trump, the one true nemesis, a New York developer who cut his teeth dealing with the New York building trades, which are, of course, a criminal element in and of themselves.

Trying to pin on Trump their own sins of sexual corruption, nepotism, embezzlement, etc. has not been a well-thought out strategy on the part of the American power elites simply because it enabled him to begin educating the american public as to the breathtaking scope of their own criminality. Now, on the verge of Trump’s inevitable reelection, they are left with only one option: a coup d’etat against the American people, the American Constitution, and the American Republic itself.

Since the elites still very much permeate every hall of power in America, this is a one-off deal in which the rulers of a country set out to violently overthrow the very political structure of the country they are ruling, but, as they say, it is what it is. The cover may be different, but the playbook is the same, so we are already being exposed to the oldies but goodies of escalating agitprop (weaponized lies and propaganda), suppression of unwanted elements (cancel culture), and paid snitching (whistleblowing). Now we are entering into a new phase, that of secret trials with a predetermined outcome.

Apparently congressional Democrats are going to hold impeachment hearings (read Bolshevik tribunal) at a secret location with no rights whatsoever being afforded to the accused. The transparent illegality of this kangaroo court is so blatant that even the Democrats cannot hope to have the impeachment upheld in the GOP-controlled senate. If they could hold the impeachment hearings properly in front of the full House, they would have done so because a formal impeachment with all Democratic and a few Republican votes would have given them a 50-50 shot in the Senate. Unfortunately for all of us, however, the scope of their criminal acts is such that they cannot contemplate any due process without committing political and even non-political suicide.

Unfortunately for all of us I say, because what follows next will not be pretty. Having obtained an illegal impeachment that has no chance in the Senate, the powers that be in America will use this “impeachment” to force Trump off the 2020 ballot by any means possible, including things that now sound crazy like setting up a parallel Supreme Court having declared the Constitution illegitimate because it was written by white males some of whom supported slavery and ratified without African American and other minority votes.

Needless to say, such actions may well precipitate an armed conflict we know of as civil war, but that would not be an unexpected outcome for the elites. We know now that the American intelligence services all work for the elites and not for the people. They will fight on their side in the coming war. What we don’t know is to what degree the armed forces have been infiltrated, especially the mid-level officer corps.

The outcomes of such cataclysms are never possible to predict, but we know what we know. American ruling classes have long since betrayed her and her people to make themselves fabulously, generationally rich and powerful. They could have cut a power-sharing deal with the American people as represented by president Trump; his hand has always been open to them. They didn’t take him up on it. Massive anger is building up in America now and the battle lines are drawn: either the American republic overthrows her own criminal elites or they overthrow her. Which shall it be? To quote the Commander in Chief of the forces of light: “we’ll see what happens.”

Last night at the rally he said something to the effect of "I don't know (shrug) I guess I thrive on this stuff." That was a very honest remark. Never in all of her miserable life has Hillary Clinton said anything even approaching that degree of honesty and candor. She wouldn't even know how to tell the truth or publicly declare a truthful assessment of herself. That goes for the Krimson Kenyan, too.

The right man, at the right time, in the right place. Yessir.

And speaking of the truth, here's a bit of it for you- in June, 2015, I called Donald Trump an assclown. You can see the thread pinned to the top of this section of the forum.
Well, more than four years later, I can say that I truly love this man. I mean that. Not only did he save us from Hillary Clinton and the horrible things that would have followed her (leftist SCOTUS and Federal court judge appointments, attacks on the Second Amendment, corrupt collusion with foreign nations, etc), but every day- every day- Donald Trump fights for this nation. Anyone who can't see that is utterly clueless.

They're pretty much done calling him a moron and thin-skinned. If ever there was evidence they aren't getting to him, it was the speech at the Minnesota rally. I know of no one who could withstand what has been thrown at him. With the risk and bravery of the founding fathers. God has blessed America.

Imagine how much effort and money spent at undermining him, how much more effective he could be/have been without such impediments. Not even cooperation, just without massive efforts to block anything that makes him look like he's accomplishing things, or without a corrupt media that can't highlight one good thing he's done.

NSC Staffer is Revealed as Whistleblower’s Likely Informant; White House Decides to Cut NSC Staff

https://www.redstate.com/eliza...-downsize-nsc-staff/

On Friday, a source told Fox News that a National Security Council (NSC) staffer had spoken about Trump’s July 25th phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to “multiple” people outside of the NSC, and had characterized the call as “outrageous.” This occurred before the whistleblower’s complaint had been submitted. This development had been reported to then-senior National Security Council (NSC) leadership.

According to Fox:

The development comes as Fiona Hill, a former special assistant to the president who worked on European and Russian affairs, is set to give a deposition next week. Fox News has reached out to Hill for over a week with questions about whether she helped prep for the July 25 call or received any readout of the call.

Hill departed the White House in July, after working under ex-National Security Advisers H.R. McMaster and John Bolton.

Separately, President Trump’s new National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien, appeared on Fox Business News’ Lou Dobbs on Thursday and said he plans to reduce the number of staff members of the National Security Council over the next 15 months to about 100 from the current level of 178. O’Brien said that the Obama administration had over 200 staffers on its NSC while the George W. Bush administration had only 100. He told Dobbs that, “It just ballooned into a massive, you know, bureaucracy…under the last administration. We want to bring it back to historic levels. We think we can be more efficient and better serve the President with that sort of a streamlined organization.”

O’Brien said the cuts would happen through attrition. He explained that “most of them are detailed from agencies, from the DOD, from various branches of the military, from the State Department.”

Considering that the most recent leak from an NSC staffer resulted in the whistleblower’s complaint which has become the basis of the Democrats’ bogus impeachment inquiry, Trump is obviously concerned.

However, a senior administration official said Friday that O’Brien’s planned staff reduction was unrelated to the leaks. That seems rather unlikely. A smaller staff would be in the administration’s best interest as it would make members a bit more accountable and leakers somewhat easier to find.

On Friday, The Wall Street Journal reported that the whistleblower’s attorneys asked lawmakers if, instead of appearing before Congress in person, their client might answer questions in writing. So far, there has been no response.

Their source said the whistleblower’s attorneys fear that Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee would leak their client’s identity.

Several ideas have been tossed around about how to protect the whistleblower’s anonymity such as having him or her “appear remotely and using technology like voice modulation software to conceal his identity.”

Other ideas involve the use of secure rooms called Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, or SCIFs. The source said that “while those rooms are available on Capitol Hill, appearing there likely would pose additional challenges to protecting the whistleblower’s anonymity given the number of people, especially reporters, in the halls of Congress. One alternative that has been discussed is using a SCIF at an executive branch agency, people familiar with the matter said.”

Given how significantly the whistleblower’s case has unraveled over the last couple of weeks, I think we should dispense with the term “whistleblower.” Like Christine Blasey-Ford, he or she is a tool of the Democratic Party.

The Democrats’ protection of this individual stands in sharp contrast to their Stalinesque treatment of the President. Even the accused have rights in the U.S. justice system. The Confrontation Clause in the Sixth Amendment “provides that a person accused of a crime has the right to confront a witness against him or her…as well as the right to cross-examine the prosecution’s witnesses.” House Democrats have accused our President of an offense that falls into the category of “high crimes and misdemeanors.” He is entitled to a defense and he deserves to confront his accuser.

About the Open Society Institute and the Soros Foundations Network

"The Soros foundations network includes Soros foundations that operate in individual countries or regions; the Open Society Institute (OSI) and its offices; OSI initiatives supporting the work of the Soros foundations; and U.S. Programs, which are initiatives that operate in the United States only. Our foundations and initiatives operate in more than 50 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, Asia, and the Americas."[5]

"The goal of the Soros foundations network throughout the world is to transform closed societies into open ones and to protect and expand the values of existing open societies. The concept of open society is, at its most fundamental level, based on the recognition that people act on imperfect knowledge and that no one is in possession of the ultimate truth. In practice, an open society is characterized by the rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and minority opinions; democratically elected governments; a market economy in which business and government are separate; and a thriving civil society."[6]

"In pursuit of the Soros foundation network's mission, OSI and the foundations established and supported by George Soros seek to strengthen open society principles and practices against authoritarian regimes and the negative consequences of globalization. The Soros network supports efforts in civil society, education, media, public health, and human and women's rights, as well as social, legal, and economic reform."[7]

"During most of the 1990s, the Soros foundations network developed in the former Soviet empire, helping countries in transition from authoritarian rule build open, democratic societies. Over the past several years, we have expanded our geographical horizons to other parts of the world. Together with partners that share our principles and goals, the network is laying the foundation for a truly global alliance for open society."[8]

"The goal of the Agency (CIA) was exactly the same as that of the Open Society Fund: to dismantle socialism. In South Africa, the CIA sought out dissidents who were anticommunist. In Hungary, Poland and the USSR, the CIA, with overt intervention from the National Endowment for Democracy, the AFL-CIO, USAID and other institutions, supported and organized anticommunists, the very type of individuals recruited by Soros' Open Society Fund. The CIA would have called them "assets." As Soros said, "In each country I identified a group of people - some leading personalities, others less well known - who share my belief..." Soros' Open Society organized conferences with anticommunist Czechs, Serbs, Romanians, Hungarians, Croatians, Bosnians, Kosovars. His ever-expanding influence gave rise to suspicions that he was operating as part of the U.S. intelligence complex. In 1989, the Washington Post reported charges first made in 1987 by the Chinese government officials that Soros' Fund for the Reform and Opening of China had CIA connections." [9]

‘Whistleblower’ Attorney Devised Scheme for Mueller to Disclose Classified Info

https://www.breitbart.com/poli...ose-classified-info/

Mark S. Zaid, the activist attorney representing the so-called whistleblower at the center of the impeachment movement targeting President Donald Trump, advocated for Robert S. Mueller III to become an anti-Trump whistleblower.

On April 25, 2018, while Mueller’s Office of the Special Counsel was investigating ultimately collapsed claims of collusion between Russia and Trump’s presidential campaign, Zaid co-authored an oped in the New York Times calling for Mueller and his staff to become “lawful whistle-blowers.”

The scheme outlined by Zaid was an option to be implemented if Trump had moved to fire Mueller and dismantle the Special Counsel’s office.

Zaid opined that if Mueller was indeed fired, he and his team “would not have to do anything illegal to disclose classified information and ensure that the American people learned the truth.”

Under such a scenario, Zaid called for Mueller to immediately take any so-called evidence to Congress, even “the most highly classified materials” and to already begin setting up a contingency plan to take action.

Zaid noted it is illegal to send classified documents using the regular Internet and that Congress doesn’t use the same secure email system as the executive branch. Therefore, Zaid suggested that an employee from Mueller’s office should immediately manually transport hard copy documents or encrypted hard drives to Capitol Hill where they would be received by a member of Congress on the House and Senate Intelligence Committees or their staff who are authorized to possess highly classified information.

Once the so-called evidence physically reached Congress about one mile from the Special Counsel’s office, Zaid surmised, Trump “probably could not contain it.”

That’s when Zaid suggested plans to get Mueller’s classified information to the public:

If necessary, members of Congress could unilaterally release classified information on the floor of the House or the Senate. The Constitution’s speech and debate clause would protect them from criminal prosecution and civil lawsuits. If Mr. Trump attempted any legal action, courts would almost certainly dismiss it on separation-of-powers grounds. With bipartisan support, Congress could even pass a new statute specifically to declassify key documents, overriding a presidential veto if necessary.

If individual whistle-blowers know what to ask for, they can also litigate. To force the government to release specific classified documents, they can follow administrative declassification procedures and sue under the Freedom of Information Act. Any Justice Department official who destroyed documents during litigation would be violating multiple criminal statutes. In such a high-profile case, it’s hard to say how successful such litigation would be, but in other matters, journalists have quite often won such lawsuits against the government.

Mr. Mueller could also write an article describing what he learned, and submit it to the Department of Justice for prepublication review for classified material. If the department insists on redacting even one word, Mr. Mueller could sue to enforce his own First Amendment rights to communicate with the American people on matters of public concern. Courts have sometimes ruled favorably in less-prominent cases.

Zaid is representing the so-called whistleblower as an attorney for the small Compass Rose Legal Group. The firm’s founder, Andrew Bakaj, confirmed that his law firm is also representing “multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying August 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General.”

Breitbart News reported that a search of Bakaj’s Twitter account finds rabid anti-Trump posts such as repeated advocacy for Trump cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment of the Constitution to remove Trump as president over claimed competency issues.

Zaid’s New York Times oped was written with John N. Tye. The two in 2017 co-founded Whistleblower Aid, a small nonprofit that blasted advertisements around D.C. actively seeking whistleblowers during the Trump administration.

In his twitter profile, Zaid describes himself as a “non-partisan” attorney “handling cases involving national security, security clearances, govt investigations, media, Freedom of Information Act, & whistleblowing.”

Zaid’s twitter profile doesn’t mention that he co-founded Whistleblower Aid. That detail is also not mentioned in Zaid’s bio on his attorney website although it was advertised in his Times oped with Tye concerning Mueller.

Whistleblower Aid has been actively helping the first whistleblower also being represented by Zaid by setting up a GoFundMe page seeking to raise funds for the purported whistleblower’s defense. The page already brought in some $210,066 with a goal of raising $300,000.

Whistleblower Aid was founded in September 2017 in the wake of Trump’s presidency to encourage government whistleblowers to come forward.

The group did not sit around waiting for whistleblowers. Upon its founding, Whistleblower Aid actively sought to attract the attention of Trump administration government employees by reportedly blasting advertisements for its whistleblower services on Metro trains, using mobile billboards that circled government offices for 10 hours a day, and handing out whistles on street corners as a gimmick to gain attention.

When Whistleblower Aid was first formed, the main banner for the mission statement of its website contained clearly anti-Trump language.

“Today our Republic is under threat. Whistleblower Aid is committed to protecting the rule of law in the United States and around the world,” read the previous statement which can still be viewed via the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

That part of the mission statement received attention in the conservative media.

The sentence “today our Republic is under threat,” has since been scrubbed from the website. The mission statement now only reads, “Whistleblower Aid is committed to protecting the rule of law in the United States and around the world.”

Speaking to the Washington Post just after Whistleblower Aid’s founding, Tye claimed, “This is not a partisan effort,” and then went on to express seemingly partisan alarm about Trump.

Tye continued, “At the same time, yes, the rule of law starts with the office of the president. Like many other people, we are definitely concerned about things that are happening in the administration. The decision to fire [FBI Director] James Comey. The lack of transparency. A lot of people have questions about whether this administration respects the rule of law.”

Far-left ties, Democrat links

Zaid doubles as Executive Director and founder of the James Madison Project, which says it seeks to promote government accountability. The Project features on its four-person advisory board John Podesta, who led Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, served as Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton and founded the Soros-funded Center for American Progress pushing a progressive agenda.

Whistleblower Aid co-founder Tye himself is a whistleblower. He is a former State Department official who went public in 2014 about U.S. government electronic surveillance practices.

Tye’s bio on Whistleblower Aid’s website brandishes his work for far-left groups.

The bio reads:

Mr. Tye has worked at the Southern Poverty Law Center, Avaaz, and also Southeast Louisiana Legal Services as a Skadden Fellow. He was on the board of directors of the American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is known for its anti-conservative stance and controversially publishes a “hate map” listing groups that warn about radical Islam such as Jihad Watch, the Clarion Project, the Center for Security Policy. On that same “hate map” are racist extremist organizations like Global Crusaders: Order of the Ku Klux Klan and United Klans of America.

Tye’s other former employer, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), is financed heavily by billionaire activist and Democratic Party mega-donor George Soros and is known for its hyper-partisan liberal activism.

Avaaz, a radical group where Tye served as campaign and legal director, describes itself as a “global web movement to bring people-powered politics to decision-making everywhere.” The group has repeatedly engaged in anti-Israel activism.

Channeling the mantra of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky, Avaaz says it aims to “organize citizens of all nations to close the gap between the world we have and the world most people everywhere want.”

Avaaz was founded in 1997 by the Soros-funded, partisan MoveOn.org organization and by the Soros-funded Res Publica activist group.

Tax forms from Soros’s Open Society document donations to Res Publica specifically earmarked for support to Avaaz. Res Publica oversees Avaaz activism.

The same year that Whistleblower Aid was founded, Avaaz’s former general counsel and campaign director, Ian Bassin, in 2017 formed United to Protect Democracy. The latter is a grouping of former top lawyers for the Obama administration working to utilize legal advocacy methods to oppose Trump’s policies.

Bassin’s United to Protect Democracy works in partnership with the Brennan Center for Justice, located at NYU School of Law. The Brennan Center is heavily financed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations and is the recipient of numerous Open Society grants.
