Mueller to testify publicly on July 17
BY MORGAN CHALFANT AND TAL AXELROD - 06/25/19 09:11 PM EDT

The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/h...511520?userid=392361

=========================================
.............................
........."In a statement issued Tuesday, the Judiciary panel’s top Republican, Doug Collins (R-Ga.), said, “I hope the special counsel's testimony marks an end to the political gamesmanship that Judiciary Democrats have pursued at great cost to taxpayers. May this testimony bring to House Democrats the closure that the rest of America has enjoyed for months, and may it enable them to return to the business of legislating.”

Collins accused “many” of “willfully” misrepresenting the special counsel’s findings and said Democrats have “neglected their responsibility to safeguard future elections from foreign influence.”

Stock up on No-Doz for this one. Another Nothing Burger served by Mueller highlighted by Democrat grandstanding.

How can I watch Trump's Tweets?

The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People again must learn to work, instead of living on public assistance. ~ Cicero 55 BC

Really starting to hate Roberts. He seems more focused on preventing lefty outrage than on following the Constitution.

Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh dissented.

In a dissenting opinion, Thomas wrote that, "For the first time ever, the court invalidates an agency action solely because it questions the sincerity of the agency's otherwise adequate rationale."

"This conclusion is extraordinary," he wrote. "The court engages in an unauthorized inquiry into evidence not properly before us to reach an unsupported conclusion."

But, hey, at least Roberts can make Bernie happy:

@BernieSanders

Trump lied about his motivations, and five justices called him on it. His proposal to add a citizenship question to the census was nothing but a racist attempt to disenfranchise communities of color.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Supreme Court blocks citizenship question on 2020 census for now; administration's explanation insufficient.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Donald Trump tweet:

Seems totally ridiculous that our government, and indeed Country, cannot ask a basic question of Citizenship in a very expensive, detailed and important Census, in this case for 2020. I have asked the lawyers if they can delay the Census, no matter how long, until the....

.....United States Supreme Court is given additional information from which it can make a final and decisive decision on this very critical matter. Can anyone really believe that as a great Country, we are not able the ask whether or not someone is a Citizen. Only in America!
