I was unable to attend, but I had several friends who did make it. They said it was incredible. Packed, and the entire night was worth the wait and traffic in their estimation.

President Donald Trump raised nearly $25 million in less than one day after he officially launched his 2020 campaign, according to Republican National Committee officials Wednesday.

“[Trump] has raised a record breaking $24.8M in less than 24 hours for his re-election,” said Ronna McDaniel, RNC chairwoman. “The enthusiasm across the country for this President is unmatched and unlike anything we’ve ever seen!”

The president brought in more money in one day than any of the Democratic presidential hopefuls raised during the entire first quarter, according to officials. Former Vice President Joe Biden led the other 2020 Democrats in first-day contributions with $6.3 million, followed by former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who came in second place with $6.1 million.

“This shatters every fundraising record! By comparison, Biden raised $6 million… the top 5 Democrats COMBINED only raised $14 million,” tweeted Eric Trump. “The excitement for [Trump] last night was off the charts! #Winning“

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders outraised his Democratic competition in the first quarter with $18.2 million. Biden, however, launched his campaign in late-April and has not yet officially reported. He said Monday he had 360,000 donors with an average contribution of $55 during the second quarter so far.

“Do the math: that’s more than a million dollars an hour for an entire day,” said Tim Murtaugh, the director of communications for Trump’s 2020 campaign. “On top of an electric rally in Orlando, this shows huge Trump enthusiasm.”

From the pages of the new American pass time: parody trolling.

Trump starts a new men's neckwear line called "Secret Russian Ties."

The sound you hear is not the expected Champagne corks for the biggest and best brand ever.

No. It's the sound of heads popping in impotent rage over not finding high crimes or misdemeanors in the Mueller report. Link

President Trump has chosen to go beyond his normal “elbow in the ribs” Twitter snarkery into the realm of straight-up, Moe Howard fingers-in-the-eyes by launching a line of men’s neckwear dubbed “Secret Russian Ties”.

What he should do is say nothing at all, let them pass it, call a press conference in the oval office. Have a TV on his desk. Just before signing it. Play every single (and I mean every) time one of those assholes says there is "no border crisis," "manufactured crisis," "detentions are lower than in 19xx". After that video finishes he should take the bill rip it in half and throw it at them. Then he should tell them, they created this shit show by lying about the border crisis and he's not bailing them out and he's shipping them all to NYC and SF and flooding their streets with illegals, specifically the richest parts where movie stars and politicians live. Or they can come back with $4.5b in humanitarian aid and $20.5b for the wall to stop this shit now.

Fucking lying hypocrites. They don't care about America one bit, only getting reelected.

The Hill's Morning Report - Democrats frustrated by Hope Hicks's silence
BY ALEXIS SIMENDINGER AND AL WEAVER - 06/20/19 06:29 AM EDT

The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/m...hills-morning-report

......."House Democrats were left shaking their heads on Wednesday after former White House communications director Hope Hicks appeared on Capitol Hill, but continued the White House’s ongoing stonewalling by declining to answer most questions during a day-long, closed-door interview before the House Judiciary Committee. ".......

Stonewall their shorts off!
Screw Jerry Nadler and all his posse.

They have no purpose but to keep the fake Russia Collusion narrative going up to the election.

Re: “controversial economist” below. Controversial only because the idea of tax cuts infuriates libs. The correctness of Laffer’s theories is well supported by evidence. President Trump clearly doesn’t find Laffer to be controversial.

“President Donald Trump has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to a controversial economist whose tax-cutting theories have guided the views of world leaders since the 1970s.

Arthur, 78, has promoted the view that lower tax rates change people's behavior and stimulate economic growth, creating more tax revenue for the government, not less.

The concept has influenced the economic thinking of leaders ranging from Presidents Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and California Governor Jerry Brown.

'Few people in history have revolutionized economic thought and policy like Dr. Art Laffer,' Trump said during a ceremony in the Oval Office…”

It’s all in the words. Fox News radio had a top of the hours news bite that said Trump’s rally found him campaigning on “what he claimed” were his victories. It seems even Fox can’t give the President any slack without the occasional slight

Our Orlando Sentinel endorsement for president in 2020: Not Donald Trump | Editorial
Ex-subscriber here. We took the paper when we first moved to this area. I canceled the subscription. They kept delivering it although they did not charge for it once I canceled. I contacted their distribution department, told them to stop littering my driveway with their crap, and if I happened to catch their delivery person in the act, there would be a very unpleasant confrontation. After the fourth time that we had this "chat," they finally stopped throwing their garbage on my driveway.

That so-called newspaper is not even worth lining the bottom of a bird cage.

shooting down a drone is the same as shooting down any other military aircraft - pretty close to an act of war

me thinks some SEALS ought to do some covert stuff in Iran, or maybe just bomb a military base and destroy a shitload of capability
