I am impressed with Jim Beam Black for the taste and smoothness, at a very reasonable price. It is a fixture in my back bar.

Yep. It's so much better than regular Jim Beam, for not much more $$.

Tonight it’s 2 oz cucumber vodka, 1 oz Triple Sec, and 1 oz lime juice....shaken. Not sure what’s it called but it’s very tasty!

Kamikaze Cocktail

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

A couple Coor’s lights. The beer snob has been exorcised from me. I guess eventually, you get to a point where you just want one or two light beers with a mild flavor to go with a meal that don’t fight with the taste of the food.

Last night with a reverse seared filet mignon. Strong ass IPA but loads of flavor.

You’re welcome!

I buy half gallon bottles of Cholula Green Pepper on Amazon – love this so-tasty hot sauce! I put some in a French’s mustard bottle for convenient dispensing.
