May have to go to something stronger...

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier

It's a warm, sunny day. Perfect for polishing off the very last of the spring/summer wheat beer stockpile.

I have not tried this year's release but last year's was a disappointment. Nonetheless, try it if you want to. Taste differs. The only O'fest beers that I like are Spaten and Paulaner, YMMV.

Tonight... Tullamore Dew.

I concur. Weihenstephaner's Festbier isn't very good, in my opinion. (Not terrible, but below average.) Which is surprising, coming from a brewery whose other beers I've found to be excellent across the board.

It's still worth trying, though. As noted, different people like different beers.

Jameson Caskmates. Jameson whiskey aged in beer barrels. A little less bite and with some coffee or chocolate like flavor. Good on ice or in a dessert coffee.
