Just picked up this goodness today. Sam Adams "Merry Maker" Gingerbread Stout.

Traverse City Whiskey Co

I was raiding the in-laws liquor cabinet. Found a recent bottle of TC Whiskey mixed in with ancient bottles of Jim, Jack, and Crown. The Crown was so old the flavor had "faded.". The TC Whiskey was pretty tolerable given the other options. Big Grin

How is this different than the Open Day? Only 174 bottles made.

Standard Springbank 21 (black/gold label and box) is matured in a mixture of Bourbon and Fino Sherry casks. The Springbank 21 "Open Day" expression (green/gold label and box) was a single cask release that was matured in a rum cask (outturn of somewhere between 159-174 bottles, depending on who you ask Wink ). Identical ABV for both expressions (i.e., 46%).
