For some reason I read it as Oktoberfest Hoegaarden. I had my beer goggles on last night.

St. Arnold's Bishop's Barrel No. 20. A wonderful dubbel, with a little raspberry, brett yeast, and aged in wine barrels. Delicious.

How is that place? The closest one to me is an hour 1/2 away and I'm wondering if it's worth checking out.

Yes. If you have kids it’s a nice alternative to the casinos there. Bring cash, lots of it.

Sam Adams again. I’m ready for the summer seasonals, especially the pils to come out. I love a good Czech or German Pilsner, but sometimes you want a little more taste, but the same style.

Walked into a little liquor store in a shady part of town and found a bottle of Four Roses Single Barrel from 2014. Drinks pretty damn nice.

I’ve been there. About a year and a half ago. It sucks. It will get better, but it sucks.

Sympathy and condolences sir. I salute your brother and you with a pour and raising of Old Overholt.

God bless us, everyone

I’m very sorry.

We buried my father-in-law yesterday, and my FIL’s youngest sibling today. They passed 12 hrs apart last weekend.

So last night involved drinking everything in sight.

I offer condolences and sympathy.

Tonight, a Jester King Kvass with Ratatouille. And a Maximus after dinner.
