They're bulletproof!
And you're a defeatist.

What is the point of such remarks? Just who do you think needs this pointed out to them?

In times of war, I don't want to hear defeatist talk.

You don't know what the outcome of all this will be. You can guess but you do not know.

IMO, saying "No one can ever touch the Clintons" is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Even the *gasp* Wall Street Journal editorial board is calling for Mueller to resign in light of this disclosure. This is a GOOD sign!
quote:
The more troubling question is whether the FBI played a role, even if inadvertently, in assisting a Russian disinformation campaign. We know the agency possessed the dossier in 2016, and according to media reports it debated paying Mr. Steele to continue his work in the runup to the election. This occurred while former FBI Director James Comey was ramping up his probe into supposed ties between the Trump campaign and Russians.

Two pertinent questions: Did the dossier trigger the FBI probe of the Trump campaign, and did Mr. Comey or his agents use it as evidence to seek wiretapping approval from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Trump campaign aides?

Congressional investigators need to focus on the FBI’s role, and House Speaker Paul Ryan was correct Wednesday to insist that the bureau comply with Congress’s document demands “immediately.” Mr. Sessions has recused himself from the Justice Department’s Russia probe, but he and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein can still insist on transparency. Mr. Ryan should also reinstall Intelligence Chair Devin Nunes as lead on the Russia investigation, since it appears the Democratic accusations against him were aimed in part at throwing him off the Fusion trail.

quote:
Mr. Mueller is a former FBI director, and for years he worked closely with Mr. Comey. It is no slur against Mr. Mueller’s integrity to say that he lacks the critical distance to conduct a credible probe of the bureau he ran for a dozen years. He could best serve the country by resigning to prevent further political turmoil over that conflict of interest.

Former Clinton, DNC aides largely silent on funding of Trump-Russia dossier

This will have HilLIARy pleading the 5th, and pleading FOR a 5th.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Considering all the underhanded resistance, Trump is doing a FANTASTIC job!

That being said, he need not do anything more than he has done by preventing this demonic harpy's power lust for the office of President.

She's physically, emotionally and mentally compromised.

Until Nov 2016, your statement was not defeatist...it was simply a statement of fact. I've held a TS-SCI clearance, I know what she did.

However, the election changed everything. Her husband got away with it as the most powerful person in the world at the time. She got away with it by being presumed to be the most powerful person in the world next after Obama.

Now that she never will be, nor her spawn, why would the Clintons be untouchable? Who will put themselves at great personal risk to cover for them now that their power is at an end? Sure, they are still rich, powerful, and well-connected and in bed with powerful co-conspirators who also want to save their own necks. That said, we aren't talking about a presumptive President anymore...I am hopeful.

Time is on our side. Every passing day brings more win for the Trump administration, more light shined in the swamp and more acceptance of the new order of things. Also, apparently, more revelations about how corrupt the former administration and Hillary was/is. Pretty soon, the deep state hacks are gonna need to think hard about switching sides before they get fired or indicted themselves.

At Hill's age, I think you can pretty much count on it being pruno.

The Clintons still have enough money and sleazy connections to arrange for a hit. The FBI informant better wear a vest and watch his 6.
