I am glad that you and your wife are hanging in there. It's interesting that you count years before a cancer diagnosis and after a diagnosis, you count days.

When I am not at MD Anderson getting treated for cancer I am in Louisville, KY. Reach out if you all get back up this way.

You all still have my prayers.

My nephew was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Leukemia at age 3, he is 8 this year, been cancer free for two, and getting big. Still a bad attitude from being spoiled-loosened reins, when we suspected we were going to lose him, but we are working on that... a lot.

You have my prayers. My sister went through chemo and BMT back in 2000 and she did not develop an immune system fast enough and perished. I'm glad your situation appears to be more positive.

I don't have any kid but I started to tear up about your 30 year old daughter. Then your wife.

I'm glad for the good news about the effectiveness of the bone marrow transplant. You have my prayers.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

When we see things like the great news for Mrs. Techguy, and Sigolicious's grandson, we have to believe in the power of prayer.

God bless both of them, may He keep them healthy and strong.
