Ya, they are my team, and lord knows I'm rooting for them tonight, but they DID NOT play their game tonight.

Bruins were the better team this evening.

That game was awful. The third period was painful to watch.
We've been waiting for 52 years. One more chance.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

It will be interesting how the 7th game will be called. The only way the Blues can win is if interference will be called. You will be able to tell the outcome of the game within the first 10 minutes. Charra plays a little over half the game and being 6'9" and having a 7 foot long stick it's easy to pick up on it when he does it. Some players hide it better than others but because of his stick it's pretty obvious. When the Blues dump it in deep the first forward is suppose to go in after the puck and the second forward will go for the body which results in a ton of turnovers. If the defenseman closest to the blue line is allowed to interfere with the incoming forechecker there is no way to get a strong forecheck going and it will be the Bruins to win.

The one thing I don't like about the current NHL is that the players know that if you are facing the glass you can't get hit. It's a great rule that is heavily enforced all the way down to peewee's, so much so that they actually have a stop sign on the back of their jerseys up near their neck.

The downside is that players now take advantage of the rule and as soon as they get near the boards they turn and face the glass so they can't get hit and it really changes the game. Not many years ago turning and facing the glass was a major no no because you would be getting your face pealed off the glass with a squeegee.

This style of play has been around for 45 years. NHL tried cleaning it up in the early 2000's after NJ won a few cups with the neutral zone trap and clutch game. The NHL has let this style of play return over the past 3-4 years and they have not called this type of obstruction at all in the 19 playoffs. Ironically, this usually favors the bigger/stronger team, which Boston is clearly not.

Chara won't be playing 30 minutes Weds night with his jaw wired shut. 20-22 Max with Krug and McAvoy putting in the OT when needed.

The Blues are sending Laila Anderson to Boston to see game 7. Talk about a classy organization.

Boston dominated the 1st but went to the locker room down 2.

Nothing beats a game seven in the Stanely Cup Finals.

Add "dominated the 1st AND 2nd..."

Gotta give the rookie credit.

I don't know how to ice skate or even roller skate and I usually don't watch hockey. I've been to some Blues games when I was in St. Louis, they have a loyal following. Its great to see St. Louis rally around the Blues, sell out watch parties for the Blues' locale in 30 minutes have tens of thousands watch outside, mostly fill Busch Stadium as well.

Nice pass and goal. Boston should have had the guy driving to the net covered or someone in that passing lane.

Going to be tough to come back now.
