As someone who had this surgery.. also before the heart attack, I am hoping hers is as smooth as mine was. The heart attack is the tough part to recover from, This is a Major surgery, Ribs hurt like they were broken,but heal soon. I was driving in 2 weeks. Prayers she recovers quickly.
and I Highly recommend Cardiac rehab.

It's a very good thing she went in and had her "chest cold" checked out. This could have gone real south real fast. Sending good thoughts to both you and your wife.

Happy that they were able to keep her stable until surgery (that wait for a surgery spot must have seemed like an eternity). Fabulous news that the bypass surgery went well and that your wife is on the road to a complete recovery!
