Good news about Hogg is if he doesn't fall off the map after this, he has a greater than not chance of getting caught with a freezer full of cash, dead hooker, or the like in the next few years.

He seems to already be that dumb and on that track.

This is where I think the statement should end. Public schools or private not enough parents are involved in their kids lives. My neighbors kids go to a really nice private school and are total fucking morons because the parents don't pay any attention to them at all.

But yes, you should pay particular attention to the place your kids spend 40 or so hours a week.

Great thing about him is the shitty last name. Not that there is anything wrong with the last name Hogg, it just invokes unpleasant images when heard or seen.

... so the stand up comedy continues.

Emma Gonzalez ... People (what people?) ... tweeted that Gonzalez should run for president.

The 18-year-old (Emma Gonzalez) noted that she already is president — of her school’s Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA).

And now we have a complete dilution, of the original purpose of the March.

David Hogg, demagogue

Parkland High School student, David Hogg, is milking his 15 minutes of fame big time. And the left can’t get enough of him.

Speaking at “March for our Lives” on Saturday (an event afforded massive armed protection from law enforcement in one of those oh, the irony scenarios), Hogg finished his blustery speech with a Hitleresque salute, which came on the heels of his parting words: “We can and we will change the world!”

Buzzfeed had a video of the entire speech (here), but cut it at the very end just before the gesture. Why might that be? You can see the missing bits via Fox News:

Hogg often presents as a bit unhinged as when in prior interviews he’s said things like (here):

When your old-ass parent is like “I don’t know how to send an iMessage” and you’re just like, “Give me the f---ing phone and let me handle it,” Sadly, that’s what we have to do with our government.

Aw, his parents must be beaming with pride.

He’s also stridently proclaimed that “today we are going to start a revolution.”

Hogg is the quintessential poster child for the left in attitude, words, tone, and often humorous bravado, particularly in light of the fact that he’s 17-years-old. I suppose what he lacks in wisdom and life experience, he makes up for in grand proclamations and fascist gestures.

I see a future for this lad in the Democratic/Socialist/Communist/Fascist/Totalitarian/Sharia-loving party.

The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Why did sponsors of ‘March for our lives’ spend so much money to hide their identities?
By Thomas Lifson

The people who sprang into action after the Parkland, Florida shooting and made David Hogg into an instant celebrity, culminating in the mass rallies yesterday, want to make sure that you do not find out who they are.

There are people rich enough to not care about money very much standing behind their latest useful demagogue:

Stephen Gutowski and Joe Schoffstall reported:

March For Our Lives, a demonstration involving survivors of the Parkland school shooting that will take place Saturday in Washington, D.C., and across the country, registered a 501(c)(4) nonprofit advocacy organization that is not required to disclose its donors.

The March for Our Lives Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) "social welfare" nonprofit organization, was registered on March 8 with the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, records show. The action fund lists its business address in Encino, Calif., and its agent as CT Corporation System, a D.C.-based firm that offers agent, incorporation, and corporate business compliance services.

The choice of this nonprofit vehicle means that donors lose tax deductibility for their donations. Those who live in high tax states like California and New York, can lose almost half the value of their donations that could have been deducted from their state and local tax burden.

By no means are they done with the dark money-financed activities:

The organization said on its website it chose to incorporate the group this way because it plans to lobby for new gun-control legislation even after Saturday's march.

"March for Our Lives Action Fund is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code," it said. "Unlike section 501(c)(3) charitable organizations which have restrictions on their lobbying activities, section 501(c)(4) organizations are permitted to conduct unlimited lobbying for federal tax purposes. This form of entity gives the students maximum flexibility to conduct high-impact legislative advocacy during the Day of Action and beyond."

They said the donations being made to the group now will be used to cover expenses for the march and also future lobbying efforts.

Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit quips: “I remember when ‘dark money’ was bad.”

But it is no mystery, of course. The only principle that the left consistently adheres to is its drive for controlling and expanding the power of the state.

So, just who do you suppose is willing to almost double the cost of its donations in order to remain hidden from the public?

Not all Parkland students agree with the young demagogue, David Hogg:

Parkland Student Slams #MarchForOurLives Rally For Ignoring Reality

On Saturday, a student from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School appeared on Fox News where he slammed the #MarchForOurLives rally as being heavily biased and for ignoring reality.

Kyle Kashuv, who is only a junior, told Fox News that it is beyond ridiculous that none of the students at the rally are acknowledging what really happened.

"I talked to so many marchers and they don't have a clear-cut solution," Kashuv said. "And it pains me not to see the government being held accountable for their failures. I don't see anyone blaming Sheriff Scott Israel for failing to do what he was supposed to do."

Kashuv continued, slamming the rally as being anti-Republican, saying, "I don't see anyone looking at the FBI and saying, 'How come two reports weren't followed through?' I don't see anyone going, '78 reports to the Broward Sheriff's office and nothing is done.'... How come we don't hear speakers talking about this subject?"

David Hogg's Next Crusade: Opposing Voter Identification Laws
Gun control isn't the end for the Parkland student.

The March for Our Lives may have been the Parkland activist students' magnum opus, but they are by no means done agitating for leftist policies. The only relevant legislation on the horizon, the STOP School Violence Act, passed without their support, and there are few gun regulations likely to pass.

So, at least one Parkland student is seeking to expand his policy agenda; David Hogg is battling voter ID laws.

That's right: he may believe you should have photo identification in order to exercise your Second Amendment rights, but is iffy on whether you should have similar paperwork to cast a ballot.

My God! What a bunch of mouth breathing, window licking morons!

Every last one of them need to be 1) sterilized so they won't breed more window lickers 2) locked up for not only their safety, but normal people and the safety of the Republic!

Not one knew shit of what they are crying about, and not one could put a coherent thought together! My God if most people are like this, we are truly doomed!

When students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas return to class after spring break next week, they'll be required to carry clear backpacks.

Some students have said they're not happy with the changes.

Tyra Hemans, 19, a senior, told CNN she supports parts of the new policy, such as the ID requirement. But she believes other security measures, such as forcing students to carry clear backpacks, don't adequately address the real problem with school safety, which she says is lax gun laws.

"I'm not happy with it. Why are you punishing me for one person's actions?" she said.

guess she can't see the irony there

Hemans believes a clear backpack violates students' privacy, and using metal detectors will turn the school into a prison, she said. "I want to go to school, not prison."

Hey Hemans, if you've got nothing to hide....

Isn't that what they always say to us.
