really ? President Trump has put this country on a course 180 deg from where it was in just about every dimension.

He has taken on DEMs, REPs, media, Hollywood, 12 million illegals, a court system dominated by liberal judges with extreme progressive agendas, world leaders who bought into the global warming fraud, an aggressive China / N Korea / Russia / ISIS, an organized resistance movement led by Obama / Clinton / Schumer, ....

forgot to add: a gutless, incompetent REP congress that has almost completely let him down

but yeah, you are right. I wish he were more "decisive". (sarc) He is the loneliest leader and strongest one man force to bring our country back from madness and chaos.

He isn't getting much help. We need to change that.

I suspect the WH is a little like combat, there's no point getting close to the FNGs until you figure out that they will make it. In the meantime, war is hell and people are going to get hurt. Just make sure it isn't you and hope it isn't Trump.

And lest we forget, he's all we've got; everybody else got scattered on the field of the primary or outed as a closet GDC or both.

Personally, his tweets and gaffs and whatevers don't bother me a bit, I didn't vote to hire him because he knows what sprakling-calorie-free water goes with free-range Montana brook trout. I hired him to kick ass and take names and I am not about to go about telling him how to do it or get all fretful because he does it.

I disagree. I think 10x more of exactly that is what's woefully missing in D.C., at the very least in sentiment if not also the exact way they were described.

But... whatever, it's the Trump Train and we're just along for the ride. Each week brings new and interesting things. Stay tuned, we'be barely just gotten started.

Having the right people is key, sure love to see the administration obtain some stability and be able to focus on moving forward, yes I know he's done a lot of good things however if the distractions and problems could be contained I'd imagine he'd be even further along.

Nonetheless its better than Hitlary.

Talk about a rough week.

Wife, 9 months pregnant, files for divorce.

Kid is born and in NICU.

Gets fired and escorted from the WH property today.

Harvard Law Directory comes out and he is listed as deceased.

Tough week.

Most people never even knew who the past White House Director of Communications, AKA Assistant to the President for Communications, even was. Most only knew who the Press Secretary is, speaking during press conferences, but the DoC is usually more of a background position.

I can't say I remember who hardly any of these were at the time... The position has only really existed since 1969.

If true, this is pretty funny. You don't go up to a Marine Corps General and say something like this. I said in the other thread on Mooch that if he tried talking to Kelly like he did to Bannon or Priebus that Kelly would rip off his head...

I'll view this as a positive step. Having Kelly in charge, with the positive reviews he got from his short tenure at DHS, means he starts with a real chance to corral the three ring circus the White House is right now.

Aside from the sensationalism, good things are happening with this administration. The biggest "on snap" this gives the resistance is that this administration might get really effective. Trump has gone from evil, to Hitler, to incompetent and weak, just for starters. The spin will always be there, there always be plenty of ammo(real or contrived) to be used against Trump. The worst thing for the other side is seeing an effective administration.

Trump seems to have respect for really successful people, like Marine 4 stars and billionaires.

If you aren't either, best keep a rather modest profile.

I never warmed to Scaramucci, too brash, too outspoken, too quick, too cocky, too sure of himself. He seems to have trouble winding up his private business connections.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

This is right. But its only about the only thing that is right, aside from Justice Gorsuch. I'm a pessimist, so I am hoping that General Kelly can help the President establish a plan that is a little more specific than "drain the swamp".
