Looking for the best cold weather battery for outdoor use. I have tried lithiam but found them to be short lived so not impressed. Is there anything better for an outdoor camera application?

You tried lithium primaries or rechargeables?

Lithium primaries would be the best cold-weather battery currently available.

Energizer Lithium (non-rechargeable) are currently the best available for cold temp applications. Not cheap, but Target had a sale earlier this week 10 for $13.99.

They have worked in every electronic item I have ever tried them in, FYI.

They are kind of addictive once you realize how high quality they are (will never leak) and that they can be recharged thousands of times, which saves a ton of money.
