I have a Husky pressure washer with Honda motor.
I have never used the soap dispenser. There is a soap reservoir on the front of the frame that is not connected to anything. There is a 1/4 hole in the top of the fill cap.
I presume one runs a tube from the tank directly to the pump?? I found a small brass fitting on the side of the pump that has nothing connected to it.
I presume I hook the tube there??

Mine is a different make but it has a similar setup. There is an injection hose with a filter on one end. You threat the hose through the cap from the inside, install the cap and then connect the hose to the fitting on the pump.

Both my washers only dispense soap when using the "soap" low pressure nozzle and not with the high pressure ones, do you one of those?

If it ain't woke... don't fix it.

Yes, I have a few nozzles including the black soap nozzle.

There has never been a tube since I have owned it. I was just going to buy 1/4” OD tubing, do I really need a filter?

After you've used it for awhile, especially if using different cleaning agents, you'll probably get an accumulation of coagulated and dried residue which may be small enough to work its way into your pump.

Filters are cheap insurance.

Try googling Husky pressure washer instructions. I didn't have your model # so I don't know if it is up there.

Popped a little chainsaw fuel filter on the end of the tube.

I did that and only cake up with a 1 page assembly diagram with no mention of the soap injector.
Googled some other models with similar pumps.
Popped the tube with filter in the tank ran the house to the fitting away from the motor. Should be all good.
