I couldn't say anything in the tread, but this is awesome. Perhaps my favorite drug to use - stops the heart completely for a second or two, then allows it to restart normally. Used for rapid tachydysrhythmieas such as SVT. Basically, makes the patient feel like they're dying for a second - I warn them about this feeling of impending doom before I give it to them. But an amazing drug, and hillarious meme for the ED/cardiology folks

Awesome, but for a very specialized audience. I sent it to an ER nurse* that I know.

People faking a crop circle, run into aliens faking a crop circle.

It has to do with “crop circles,” areas in fields where the crops are pushed down into various intricate shapes. Some people believe that extraterrestrial aliens travel trillions of miles across space just to come to Earth to make those designs in places like wheat fields. No one ever offers up a good explanation for why the aliens would do that or even how, but that’s what they believe.

On the other hand the thing became a craze for a time with (human) pranksters making the circles anonymously to stir up the gullible and amuse (some of) the rest of us. The reason circles are so common is because they’re easily made by use of a rope and board pivoted around a central point.

The cartoon depicts an unexpected meeting between human and alien pranksters in the field that they both decided to vandalize. Some of us found it funny.

I'm assuming that the one about the "core sample" is depicting that the drill cut a half-dozen or more communications/power cables.

It's a tube of pillsbury rolls, you know, the ones that pop when you open them.
Always a bit startling...the explosion is a funny exaggeration.

Oh. No, I don't know. I don't cook. Have never opened a tube of Pillsbury® rolls. (When I was young and my mother made rolls, she did them from scratch--there were no packaged ones to buy.)
