With Valentine's day, her birthday, and our anniversary coming up I'm looking to buy my wife a nice set of watercolor brushes. She has recently started painting and she really enjoys it and I think it helps her destress a lot.

I couldn't draw to save my life. So I'm looking for suggestions for a gift. I know she specifically wants a "mop brush." Obviously I could just search Amazon. But it's hard to separate the good from the crap on there.

Thanks!

Nick

A #16 round from that last link would work well.

A mop brush is a big round brush used for laying down a lot of water or color down at a time. It's made of squirrel hair usually, instead of sable.

Isabey is a good name in quality brushes.

Perhaps a gift certificate to an artist's supply house will be better. She can get exactly what she wants.
