Mechanical watches can have chimes. There haven't been many music box watches.

A great set of movies.

The Italians are great musicians, it is a big part of their culture. They take their culture seriously.

The watches shipped.
I don't expect miracles because they are movie props basically.

I did see the green poncho Eastwood wears on sale.
I might get one of those, I have always wanted one.

Nice, get the poncho and some small cigars to chew on and you're ready for action!

https://www.famous-smoke.com/brandgroup/avanti+cigars

Avanti Cigars are the only maker of dry-cured cigars in America, utilizing 100% U.S.-grown tobaccos to make all-natural Toscano style cigars. That means no homogenized wrapper or filler (there is no binder) is used, delivering intense, full bodied smokes that vary from aromatic to flavored and infused.

Toscano cigars such as the Parodi Ammezzati, Avanti's most popular cigar, are also known as cheroots - made famous by the Old West movies, with actors like Clint Eastwood smoking them on screen. But Avanti's cigars date back much further than the spaghetti westerns...

For a Few Dollars More is by far my favorite of the Eastwood spaghetti westerns. Gian-Maria Volante is (IMO) better than Eli Wallach in the outlaw role, and I don't say that lightly; I liked Wallach's work.

Cool watch. I'm trying to imagine the reaction when you pull it out in a small restaurant and the other patrons hear the tune. I'd like to be there.

They don't score movies like that anymore, at least not very often.

I went and bought the soundtrack.

Just click to the right on the down-arrow, which is the download symbol.

Wow, that is one of my top movies of all time.
I am going to get that watch. I know it is a cheesy spaghetti western, but I love that movie.

I have all of the original Sergio Leone soundtrack vinyl LPs, in my record collection.

I also love Once Upon a Time in the West, just as much. Fonda and Bronson are great in that film. I think it is the only time Fonda played the "bad guy" and he nailed it.

Watch leone's Duck You Sucker, it's really good too.

I imagine the watches are basically a movie prop and a bit cheaply made.

The watches came in today.
I bought one each the chimes only version and the chimes with violins version.

The chimes only version kinda sucks, the sound is not that great, apparently a common complaint.

That said though, the chimes with violins version is most excellent and I am super happy with that one.
This one exceeded expectation.

If anyone here is considering buying one of these, get the version with the violins and you'll be happy.

The watch has nice heft, is made of metal with gold plating, is quartz, and overall looks really nice as well as functions well.

The replica green felt hat and green poncho Eastwood wore in A Few Dollars More arrived today.

I put the video For A Few Dollars More on the TV, and the hat and poncho are perfect, very nice.
I really like the hat, I may order the rabbit fur version.

Typically, I don't look good in hats, but this style works for me.
