I heard someone on the David WEbb show this morning say a moderate democrat is defined as one that will vote with you when you don't need their vote.

How true today. When the Dems need to stay unified to defeat a bill, you can bet they will ALL vote together. When the votes don't count, leadership will stage-manage the vote and "allow" vulnerable Dems to vote with the Republicans.

LOL. I know people personally who are just as moderate as they ever have been, but are left of center on certain social issues, and somewhat right of center on certain fiscal issues. They haven't gone over the deep end of Trump bashing. People like them will likely never garner attention from the media as there are no TV rating wins from profiling people that aren't extremists.
