Our fellow member, friend and firearms peddler 220ST needs help. He is having to suspend his SCP firearms business temporarily in order to increase his finances for personal and medical reasons. He has helped out many of us and we need to help him.

So as a way of returning the favor I am going to hold a raffle. There will be several prizes to win.

After discussing this with Steve and Parabellum this raffle will be extended by one week. The new Drawing date will be August 17th, 2008. This raffle has been linked in several other forums (S&W Forum and The High Road IIRC). Therefore in order to maximize the amount we may raise in order to assists Steve, it has been decided that members of other forums are welcome to participate. However, we feel that the main priority is to assist Steve as much as possible and if releasing this to other forums helps us raise more money for Steve in his time of need, we are going to allow it.

SIG Forum Member Rotndad is offering a pair of brand new in the box, never mounted or installed Bose 151 Environmental Speakers®. These are an older model but have been sitting in my closet for a few years. The newer model lists on the Bose site for $250. I have tested them and the sound great.

They are called "Environmental speakers" because they are designed for outdoor use. They would be great for a poolside or boat installation.

It is described as a Walther P22 Anthracite finish with brushed chrome slide. 3.4" barrel, and it's got 4 mags with it. It has a custom fit CNC extractor to improve ejection. It is previously loved and well enjoyed with plenty of life left.

I get paid the 31st so I'll be able to contribute then. If my check somehow doesn't make it by raffle's end it's no big deal, just forward the funds to 220ST anyway. The speakers would be cool, but aren't really the point here.

I do not want in on the raffle. But, I will be sending a donation, you'll just have to wait until I get paid the first week of August.

I was going to KARMA a $50 Gift Certificate, in stead it will go to help Steve. The check money order will be in the mail tomorrow. I have bought from Steve and just shot the poop with him on the phone many times, he is a quality guy.
