The Mystery Box will indeed ride again, and I'll keep a list of who has it and where it goes. There may end up being more than one mystery box, just to keep shipping costs down.

If you posted in another thread about wishing to participate, and haven't gotten the box yet, just post in this thread now.

I will manage a list and karmanator who is next.

A few criteria for the box:

You must have something useful/interesting to put in it.

You must have an email in your profile.

No one should be in a rush to receive the box, and you can take your time within reason, to be ready to send it on.

You can remove from the box more than you put in, you may take things for anyone you know who could use an item from the box.

Be fair with the amount items you remove, and do not sell items you take from the box.

This is meant as a curiosity and a kindness, keep that in mind.

--- Mystery Boxes are away ---

--- Wait for a new thread to participate ---

after some controversy ,
Para posted this:

So, it's time to end this. If we're going to start posting names and addresses of members, over a box of junk- you heard me- a box of junk, then it's time to put an end to this.

What's it going to be? I am not going to put up with this happening every few months. Square this away or it's going away.

Never again should I open this thread and see personal information of a member, all because a box of junk has gone missing. Next time is the last time.

Member eseaton still has it. It stalled out there about 7 months ago: https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...35/m/6010095163/p/40

Probably best to just start a new one, if you're so inclined.

It's easy to get distracted with life. I missed the hubbub about this, and would hope it to go a bit smoother.

I'll ponder just starting anew.

Eseaton will send it on, then it'll come my way for an infusion.

As long as folks are patient waiting for their box of random junk, all will be well.

The Mystery Box rides again.

I’d be in for it.
Are you going to continue using the original thread to pick winners from or start a new thread for it?

No, it's fine, and I could if need be. It should serve as a reminder that this is for fun and not to sweat it if someone sits on the box for a while.

Life happens, why volunteer for stress?

Indeed. One of many uses. Like newspaper, I feel like there are a number of useful items we'll miss.
