for my best buddy, John, over here in UK. Diagnosed with prostate cancer six weeks ago, he begins his chemotherapy régime on Friday morning. He is very positive about the whole deal, as are we all. His wife of forty-five+ years, too.

I'd really appreciate it if you could share the care we have here with us.

Thanks, and G*d bless you all, even the agnostics and atheists...

Prayers for your friend.

I've been there. I firmly believe that the "miracle" in my case was the treatment system used to eliminate my cancer.

It was a system called IMRT. Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy.

I did not use hard radiation. Rather it used X-ray to kill the cancer. Long process of 39 weeks driving about 60 miles a day.

Only side effect was some tiredness.

I still do PSA tests annually, just for insurance that it has not come back.

Good luck to your friend!

Don't know if they have that IMRT system over there, but worth checking out.

I pray he can recover. My dad has been through this. His was fairly aggressive and he did some shots and radioactive implants and has been good thus far. His PSA’s remain low.

Tell him best of luck.

Hopefully they caught it early like in the case of both my Dad and my Uncle. Each had prostrate cancer and apparently all men will get it if you live long enough.
