And now the more serious problem, the adult runs into the frame after bully is down. Where was he to intervene before the kid was spat upon? Was he watching it go down? Allowing it to escalate?

I'd rather be armed and unharmed than unarmed and harmed.

he probably played it right,
Had he put a finger on the bully ,
he would be up on all kinds of charges and in some sort of revue board etc,etc

When you spit on someone, you should be prepared for whatever comes back your way. I was hoping that the kid he spit on would clock him, but the way it turned out is fine.

Isn't spitting on someone a chargeable assault offense these days? I think once you're spat on you can defend yourself however you may. Looked like the kid he was picking on had a cast or ace bandage on his arm or hand. Anyhow homeboy got what he needed but I doubt he learned anything.

Like someone posted in another thread, it is the loudmouths that bark with no bite, and the quiet unassuming ones that can pour on the hurt.

And what a punch- first was the fist, then the desk, then the floor, all in one clean, forceful move Smile

Spitting is vile. As far as non violent acts that could (should? would?) illicit a violent response spitting tops the list.

Not only vile, but in some jurisdictions it is considered assault and battery. Faintly remember from years ago a case that went to court and the decision was that the spitter got hammered for assault and battery.

HeHeHe... that scum probably won't even remember who or what happened when the lights went out. Outstanding.

I think he just lost any street cred he might have had.

Never had any to begin with since he was picking on a kid with a broken arm.

Dude in red desked the punk with one punch!!

I must note, however, that the "bully" probably lost about 90 IQ points from the desk impact, 90 IQ points he did not have to spare.

Love how the adult (teacher?) rolls in after it's all over acting like "I got this, y'all settle down!".

Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.
