I'm the opposite. I sell guns I don't shoot. And use the money to buy silencers, ammo, or guns that I want more.

Keeping stuff just to have stuff doesn't interest me. I don't regret a single gun that I have sold.

I have always been of a mind to never sell much from my collection, there are a few dozen.
Plus mags and ammunition for everything aplenty.

I have been of a mind that I wanted to be prepared to arm my neighbors if crunch time comes out of nowhere.

I know it sounds paranoid but it never hurts to be prepared.
The government knows what I have.
While they say they don't, we all know they do.
Therefore, they know exactly what I have.

And yes, everything was legally purchased with 4473s and such.
I never hid anything, everything above board.

Better to have it and not need it, rather than vice versa, right?

I found what you said riveting.

Well welcome to the Sig twelve step program. The first step is that You are powerless when it comes to buying guns.

Yup, same here. 12131 Kicked it off. Along with wit, he's got a friendly sense of humor. I'll have to read on and see what the OPs' collection has been bid up to. Big Grin

I have sold a bunch over the years a 225, 220TT, 226Navy, hkusp45TT, Smith 581, DW pointman and 226 357Sig.

Reasons didn't like-- 225/220T
upgrade-- 226 Navy went to a legion. 581 went to a SW performace 627.
226-- too many 226's.

Only one I really regret is ist Point man

That's not really a thing, is it? That combination of words does not make sense to me.

I don't think anyone was offended, per se. Mystified, maybe Smile
