I was in Staples of all places last night and saw they had those Snuggies there. You know, the commerical where all the people look like they joined a cult and the uniform was basically a backwards bathrobe...

Anyway, it was cheap, so I figured I'd pick one up for my mom. I got home and opened the thing up to check it out. I wasn't expecting anything awesome, but I was surprised when I saw how paper thin the material was. It was also waaaay less warm than a traditional blanket.

I give the snuggie 1 star outta five. The only reason it gets a star is because I find the commericals humorous in a creepy way. I am returning the piece of crap tomorrow.

It's basically a cheaply made bathrobe that you put on backwards.

Man Card. Now.

Temporary revocation is in effect. Does anyone second the motion for permanent revocation?

(Now, in the interest of disclosure, I did just buy one for my mother's toy poodle, but as my GF has just pointed out, they're gay anyway, so it doesn't really matter.)

-Rob

Sorry - I lost them all during a camping trip last week.

Sorry Burton, you have to have a man card in order to revoke one. If you bought one, yours is pulled for 7 days too. Wink

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785.

Surprised? You thought it was going to be something other than a rip-off?

For $15, you'd think it would be a little thicker.

You weren't paying attention. I bought one to harass my mother's genetically gay toy poodle.

That would be like buying a mockingly gaudy earring for your brother. (Sorry K.) Big Grin

I'd feel more manly in the rabbit suit from "Christmas Story." At least it had feet in the bottom.
