Sorry to read this. Prayers for a good outcome, and wisdom to the doctors regardless of the result.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Thanks for all the prayers. It means a lot to both of us. The biopsy went well, now we play the waiting game. They told her that she should expect a call with the results by Tuesday.

Been down that road years ago. It all worked out just fine.

Prayers for your family that everything will turn out to be benign.

I know this story. Keep her as on the go as you can so she doesn't dwell on it.

And the good thoughts and prayers don't stop.

Our prayers are with you and your wife. My wife of 34 years has had 3 biopsies, and all were negative for cancer. My sister was diagnosed with Brest cancer during her first mammogram at 28! She survived that, and a second diagnosis 7 years later. Today she's a healthy 53 (but still mooches off me Smile). Every month a new medicine is introduced to help the fight, and positive thoughts with prayer will do the rest. Important to stay strong!

Stay safe, Steve

birddog1,

My wife and I went through this very thing just a couple weeks ago. The u/s showed scary stuff, and we were terrified. Turned out to be scar tissue, all clear.

We will both pray for you and your wife, and I sincerely hope all goes as well for y'all as it did for us.

In my thoughts. Regardless of the outcome, medicine has come a long way, even in the past three or four years.

My sister in law, 45, got the news just before Christmas, did the operation, and the doc said they got it all. She did chemo "light" 4x anyway, and is about to start radiation. Nearly didn't miss a beat with the 3 kids and worked all thru it from April on.
