And after you're through crapping all over this thread, you can tell me what your problem is, or face the consequences.

I don't recall admonishing you for anything or participating in any of your threads. I posted in this thread to clarify some things. I don't run this place to take shit off of you or anyone else. Explain yourself. What's your problem?

And I can guarantee you one thing to a certainty, and that's that you will not have the last word.

I apologize for the above being taken in the wrong way. I had no intention of this occurring. I have no problem with your actions or posts.

It was an attempt at banter, which obviously did not go well.

Sorry -- a poor attempt at humor. I do enjoy your sarcasm.

This isn't a knitting circle. We aren't elderly ladies. This is a forum comprised overwhelmingly of male adults, and not just male adults, but male adults who take an active interest in manly pursuits and defense of self and family. Such a cadre will have some form of gauntlet through which each member may run at some point.

Agreed. I am not saying that all sarcasm should be banished. But damn isn’t there any originality anymore?

Para, I’ll have to read what you write a little differently from here on. I didn’t realize that a lot of the time you’re being sarcastic. I think most of the times I have misstepped, it’s gone past sarcasm and straight to direct correction. I have a tendency to be a dumbass at times.

This isn’t about sarcasm in any thread I started and responses to such. It just so happened that I read a couple different threads this morning where the same old lines were regurgitated. It got me thinking and so I posted about it.

As Para said, it’s not a knitting circle. No, but I do have an expectation of intelligence when I come here. It’s not the Tacomaworld Third Gen forum. I don’t have much for expectations there.

I was an irritable SOB this morning and for whatever reason had a bee in my bonnet over this. So I went to work, and when the day was done, I was happy as one could be to read what everyone had to say here. It’s my little slice of paradise here. Work has a tendency to put things into perspective.

Thanks for all your replies. I appreciate every one of them. Anyways, it’ll buff out. Smile

If I thought I'd have to walk on egg shells concerned about pleasing every last reader, I'd never post anything. If I am annoying you, I'm sure it'll buff out.

I'm guilty of making some off-the-wall responses, I know. If they offend, I apologize. My mind frequently sees alternate interpretations of thread titles or other responses that strike me as funny and I comment on them. I suspect not everyone sees the same humor.

Put me down as guilty too. In another thread someone asked why a small plane shining was pointing a green laser on the ground. I said he was playing with a cat. No one else appreciated my sick humor. Razz
