1. Don't drive drunk

2. When stopped by the Police for violating rule #1 pull over within a reasonable amount of time.

3. When the officers mentions that the computer shows that you have a CCW permit and asks you if you have a firearm on you DON'T reach for it and try to give it to the officer BARREL FIRST.Most of the time your really bad day is just starting.

It ended well for all parties involved. One drunk in jail (BAC .192)and 3 cops shaking their heads.

Yes. He was also charged with having a weapon while intox. The sad thing is he seemed to be a nice guy too.

Funny story, glad things turned out OK...What State?

MN Carry law cuts the limit to .04 if carrying...And pray you don't pull on anyone if you have a trace at all...Here's the rules:

Drinking While Carrying. While the MCPPA does not explicitly bar you from drinking while carrying, you WILL be charged with a crime if you are found carrying with a blood alcohol level greater than .04.

Our advice is that if you go to a bar, you either give up drinking for the night, or give up carrying. Your Obligations for Being Tested. You are required to submit to a blood, breath, or urine test if requested and if probable cause exists. Refusing is grounds for the revocation of your permit for one year and a $500 fine.Blood Alcohol Content between .04 and .10Your permit will be suspended for 180 days.

Blood Alcohol Content greater than .10(or carrying under the influence of a controlled substance or chemical compound) Your permit will be revoked, and you may NOT reapply for a permit for one year.
