I think the Judge Kavanaugh hearing mess is bringing a lot of people over from the left.

The campaigns march in DC is this Saturday. Wonder how much publicity it will get. They have some great speakers scheduled. Also wonder what counter-protest there'll be.

It would be fabulous to have the media have to cover Democrats being attacked by their own more radical elements. More middle of the road democrats that don’t necessarily subscribe to extreme leftism might rethink their affiliation with the direction the party leaders have gone.

WalkAway Campaign founder Brandon Straka on his campaign encouraging voters to leave the Democratic Party.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

March is today. How much will we hear about it? What will the real number of attendees be?

The flapping set of gums NPR had on the radio yesterday to talk about the Blue Wave flatly assured everyone that this wasn’t really the case. The latest poll results show there was a slight uptick in Republican voters during and right after the Kavanaugh hearings, but poll numbers are now showing that most people are now completely over it and it should have no real impact on the election. Or something like that. Same thing they always do, they’re reporting what they would like to be the case instead of what is, in hopes that they can will it to be so. But I sure got the impression that somebody was scared and trying to get the Republican vote to stay home.

NPR

NPR = National Pravda Radio

Why do we give the socialists a radio station to spread their propaganda? And why do we continue to fund it?
Socialism is evil... and yet we are complicit in spreading it.

Is there one of those online petitions somewhere that goes to the President (if it gets enough signatures) asking for NPR to be defunded? I’d vote to take whatever government subsidy NPR now gets and apply that amount to building the wall.

No one but the commies would have ever thought in terms of the government paying for them to spread propaganda, and the commies have a deep bench when it comes to lobbying skills. We're not complicit, we're being legally ripped off. How else to explain how groups like ACORN actually picked up public funding in the past?

Who's ripping us off?
I voted for a Republican President, a Republican Senate and a Republican House. I was complicit in giving the Republicans the majority. It's the Republicans who vote to continue all of these socialist programs, is it not? Should we not care what they do when we give them the majority in our government? Sure, these socialist programs were dreamed up, and started by the progressively socialist Democrats, but it's now Republicans who continue to fund them.

So did you vote in favor of that funding? No? Then that, too, is who is ripping us off.

The word is spreading. I saw a lady in her 60's or 70's wearing a Dem blue shirt with nothing but "#walkaway" on the front of it today in the grocery store. As I walked past, I said "I like your shirt" and gave her a wink and a thumbs up. She smiled and gave a little chuckle.

I think now, more than ever, is the time to support this campaign and spread the word.

Just for good measure, a video search on youtube for #walkaway sorted by upload date shows 18 videos uploaded in the last 24 hours. Here's a few from the last several hours, at random:

Someone over at The Conservative Treehouse posted this ‘#Walkaway’ video (YouTube) from Georgia H.

It is about 47 minutes long, and she provides very solid reasoning and well-articulated points about why she has decided to leave what is now the ‘democrat’ party.

The process was one of ‘enlightenment’ for her once she came to grips of the reality of how damaging and destructive (to the concept of Freedom and their literal physical destruction, etc.) the democrat party is.

There may not be much ‘new’ in this vid that folks here do not already know, but for family and friends that that are not completely brainwashed and indoctrinated as Georgia calls it, this video may help them to become open to ‘walking away’ too.

I plan to encourage some of my immediate family to watch it as well as a few democrat friends (and trust me, any true believing democrat is not my ‘friend’. not even close. i despise them.).
