I like the Prvi Parizan (PPU) M193 and M855 as well.
Try that sometime.

Ordered a case of the PPU M193 a couple of weeks ago and also have an older half-case of Independence M193 that is a different lot # than your recent problematic lot. Hopefully I will not have any issues with it when it's range time

Lo, I have offended against the lesser gods of the Joy Locker. In my wanton abandon I permitted my supply to slip to levels of the humanly prudent. Case of the PPU on the way.

A member here clocked the PPU M193 at 3050fps out of a 16 inch barrel.
The Independence clocks a lot higher at 3200fps plus and the IMI comes in between the two.

As I shoot, I will begin reordering the PPU.

You know you are an Ammoholic when...

The provider of your "his" credit card* sends you a letter offering a credit line increase because of all the spending you have been doing on ammunition lately. A few months there I had to pay it off before it was due (Always pay in full, don't believe in paying interest) in order to get another order in.

*Having "his," "hers," and "ours" finances was advice I got early in marriage and it has been really good. Nobody makes a significant expenditure out of "our" finances without consulting the other, but what one does with "his" or "hers" is his or her own business.

Hmmm, I wonder if I should use my allowance for this:

http://sgammo.com/product/223-...s109-green-tip-q3269

I had already ordered the IMI.
The next day, I saw the Winchester M855.
I am having a hard time not ordering this.

For some reason they didn't stick the SD ammo in with the case. It normally comes in same box as the case. This time two boxes.

This ammo has had the opportunity to see America. Started with a trip to Connecticut after it was born to Target Sports USA with tens of thousands of its cousins. After an error in shipping/ordering it decided to visit the West Coast. Hung out at Copefree's old place for a couple of days. Met the new owner Hector there, Hector was nice and sent me an email about his time with my ammo. Copefree then picked them up and they spent the weekend with him. Mrs. Copefree was kind enough let them crash in the garage and set them out front for their trip home. Finally after 8,000 miles of traveling they made it to my doorstop, I was so happy to see the little fellows make it home. FedEx should be delivering the rest of the family tomorrow.

I'm really glad it all worked out! That ammo has had a journey.

I could not help myself.
The pull was too strong to avoid buying the military surplus Winchester M855.

The good news is that I almost have the same amount of M855 as M193 currently.

I had been woefully short on M855, but not any more.
