If you follow the link in the second post, near the bottom of the page, it clearly says, “This is a California-approved* firearms safety device that meets the requirements of California Penal Code Section 12088 and the regulations issued thereunder.”

If you are willing to trust the manufacturer, you’re set. If not you could either read the penal code section and make your own determination or download the pdf and use a search function to search for the units you care about.

ETA: Can’t figure out how to get the underline, gave up.

I keep a P226 in a Stack On PDS-1500. Might be a bit tight for two guns, depends on the guns.

These Fort Knox boxes are pretty nice, simplex lock, and made in USA (I believe)

I have the Liberty HDX-250 and I like it. Its fingerprint with key backup, so its fast. Made in USA sticker on it too. The door is mounted to the front and is spring loaded, so it flys open once you scan your fingerprint.

Here are some made in USA options.

Sorry, but I can't help you. No bedside handgun storage for me, as I live alone with Shockwave 12 gauge on floor next to bed.
