I live in northern Ohio and spring has arrived.
The ground is soft and I'm seeing people using a lawn roller. Usually the roller is pulled behind a garden tractor or 4 wheeler.

Does it really make your lawn smoother? I have never used one and I never thought my lawn was "lumpy".

My Dad has one and only uses it when the gophers come over from the neighbor's "yard"

If your lawn isn't lumpy: Don't. Soil compression is bad for the turf. That's why we aerate Smile
