Congrats.
On the engagement.
Not on making it smaller.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

That is GREAT news!! We need to expand the SF group. Lots of sharp people here. Just to help you celebrate I am having a SECOND cookie with lunch! (I never have a second cookie).

Some simple, fatherly advice from someone happily married 35+ years -

We have a minimum of 3 bank accounts - hers, yours and ours. With hers she can buy anything she wants. With yours you can buy anything you want. With “Ours” you pay the bills and make joint purchases.

Take it or leave it, it has worked for us.
