"Doesn't Lose Suction"

Malarky.
The never tested these things on cockatoo dust.

I dump it regularly and it clogs regularly.

Have the same issue with cat hair. It's like being in a terrible relationship. When it is good it is great, when it is bad it is terrible.

Ours picks up TONS of long black dog hair and plenty of cat hair but that never happens. Gets dumped multiple times when doing a couple rooms. I also regularly (monthly) take it apart and clean the filters and the canister. I'm always amazed at the black water that pours out when cleaning it.

Shave the bird?
(j/k)

I've got 2 Golden Retrievers.
I think the hair molecules are suspended in the air in the house and clump together to form wads of fur whenever a bird flaps it's wings outside.

I've gutted it several times now.
It collects down feathers then clogs.

They can become clogged.

What a coincidence! I got home from work today and spent 20 minutes cutting hair out of the roller on our purple Dyson. Then I had to clean the little holes in the basket same as that!

MUCH better to have a wife that clogs the Dyson than one who clogs the Toto.

That's my gripe, too. On pretty much all vacuum cleaners with those rollers.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

My wife thinks that "never loses suction" means she can vacuum the whole house without emptying the bin.
