The last time I was in a theater was to take my daughter to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. That would've been about 1980.

Hollywood has always been a culture and locale that is the same as what is going on now.

Its just that its in our faces more now if we let it.

I don't do 'boycott's', I simply make my own decisions based on what a retailer has done and decide from there. Movies are not high on my list anyway to why bother. Most actors and actresses have a inflated ego of how great they are so screw them all !!

Who'd you dress up as? Dr. Frank-N-Furter or Riff Raff?

Too late I’ve been doing that for about 25 years. I don’t support folks that are against most of what I believe in. As far as I am concerned Hollywood and all the movie theaters could go out business tomorrow.

Just went to a theater Sunday, saw The Maltese Falcon. Our local two screen shows probably one of that genre per month.

Last movie I saw was in 1999, and that was one of those kungfu things not made in sillywood.

Prior to that, wife and I went to see Dr. Zhivago in (I believe) about 1972.

Have no time, or money, for those sillywood "elites" and their absolutely STUPID concept that what they believe really means something to those of us who actually have a rational thought process.

Or the remakes of older, successful movies, that featured talented artists.

I'm not "boycotting" Hollywood, but in the past four years I have seen three movies on the silver screen. Fury, Spectre, and Hell Or High Water.

None were the "experience" I remember from childhood. Meh. Easier to wait and watch them in the comfort of my own couch if I feel so inclined.

I guess you you could call it a boycott - but they are not putting out any shows I'd pay money to watch. I can make good popcorn at home for far less than $10 a bucket.

I read a lot. At least until the Authors Union Association pisses me off.
